About holding the "Agricultural Bank of China Cup" 2010 Large Enterprise Bridge Tournament

Sponsored by the Agricultural Bank of China and sponsored by the China Bridge Association, the "Agricultural Bank of China Cup" 2010 Large Enterprise Bridge Invitational Tournament will be held in Beijing from May to June 2010. The relevant matters of the competition are hereby notified as follows:


1. Competition time


(1) Preliminaries


The first stop: May 9, 2010 (Sunday) 13:00-18:00


Second stop: June 5, 2010 (Saturday) 13:00-18:00


(2) Final


June 27, 2010 (Sunday) 9:00-17:00


2. Competition venue


First stop: Ziyun Hall, Capital Hotel


Second stop: Ziyun Hall, Capital Hotel


Final: Jinyun Hall, Capital Hotel


3. Competition method


(1) The competition is a 4-person team competition (each team can report 1 leader and 4-6 athletes).


(2) Preliminaries: The Swiss system will be used for a total of 10 rounds with 7 decks of cards in each round.


(3) Finals: The top 23 teams ranked by the total VP scores of the preliminaries will enter the finals. The numbers are 2-24. The sponsors will directly enter the finals, with the number 1 team. In the finals, there were 5 rounds of Swiss competition, with 10 decks of cards in each round, ranked according to VP.


4. Eligibility


(1) In principle, each team will participate in the competition as a team formed by the employees of the unit.


(2) If each team has a leader from the head office, the partner is allowed to be a member of an outside unit.


(3) If there are registered athletes from China Bridge Association in the participating team, they must be official employees of the registration unit.


(4) The organizer will separately invite some participating teams.


5. Incentives


(1) The top eight teams in the finals will be rewarded.


 (2) The competition is awarded to the Masters of the China Bridge Association in accordance with the "Technical Grade Standards for Members of the China Bridge Association".


(3) All teams participating in the competition will receive participation awards


6. Registration


All participating units are requested to register with the China Bridge Association before April 27 in accordance with the requirements of the regulations.
