Gansu Bridge Sports Association
1. Time and place:
It was held in Gansu Province Bridge Activity Center on November 15-16, 2008.
2. Team method:
All group members, bridge clubs and bridge enthusiasts in the province can form teams to participate, with 4-6 people per team.
3. Competition method:
1. The competition is divided into two stages. In the first stage, there will be five rounds of Swiss shift competition, each with 10 decks of cards, and the ranking will be ranked by cumulative VP; the second stage will be the five rounds of Swiss shift playoffs with the top eight participating teams and the remaining five rounds of Swiss shift play-offs. The first round of the knockout round is divided into two quarters, each with 12 decks of cards, the second and third rounds with 16 decks, and the Swiss shift play-offs with 10 decks of cards per round.
2. In the first round of the second stage of the knockout round, the first-three players in the first stage will choose the opponents from the fifth-eighth place; the first-round winning team will be ranked third and fourth in the first stage. The opponents in the first round are selected for the second round of competition; the winner of the second round enters the third round to decide the champion, and the loser decides the third place; the four teams eliminated in the first round will be the top three in the Swiss playoffs at that time The average value of VP is the benchmark, and then the ranking in the first stage is reduced by 1 VP and brought into the Swiss shift play-off, and the fifth and subsequent rankings will be determined with the rest of the teams.
3. Implement the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" (1999 edition) approved by the China Bridge Association and the 2006 "China Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judgment Law (Trial)" and the supplementary regulations of Gansu Province Bridge Competition.
4. Psychological bidding is prohibited. It is forbidden to use unusual bidding systems such as weak openings and highly unconventional (brown convention bidding) convention bidding.
5. Using mobile communication tools in the game, for those who did not answer or watch, the relevant team 2VP (12IMP) will be deducted; for those who have answered or watched, they will be disqualified from the game (section). Players who appear repeatedly will be further punished until they are disqualified.
6. For smokers in the competition field, 2VP (12IMP) of the relevant team will be deducted. Players who appear repeatedly will be further punished until they are disqualified.
7. Respect the referee, obey the ruling, respect the opponent, respect the companions, and shall not show offensive or uncivilized behavior with insulting language in the course of the game. Once it is found that the relevant team will be deducted 0.5-2VP (3-12IMP will be deducted in the elimination game). If they show up repeatedly or persuade them not to change, further penalties will be given according to the seriousness of the circumstances until they are disqualified from the competition.
8. The bidding system and attack signals used must be filled out in detail and brought into the arena.
4. Admission ranking and rewards:
1. The first eight places will be awarded a trophy with a prize of 2000 yuan; the second place will receive a trophy with a prize of 1500 yuan; the third place will receive a trophy with a prize of 1000 yuan; the fourth place will be awarded a certificate with a prize. 700 yuan; the fifth and sixth places will be awarded a certificate with a bonus of 500 yuan; the seventh and eighth place will be awarded a certificate with a bonus of 300 yuan. The winning team will be awarded provincial bridge master points and position points in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Provincial Bridge Association (if there are less than 24 teams, 30% of the participating teams will be rewarded and awarded master points).
2. Each team will give out one souvenir according to the actual number of participants.

1. The deadline for registration of the competition is November 10th. Before that, all teams are requested to submit the list of entries to the Provincial Bridge Association. 2. At 4 pm on November 14th, a team leader meeting will be held at the Provincial Bridge Activity Center (sorted by lottery; seed teams are based on the previous ranking).
