Rules for the 5th Taizhou "Ace of Cards Cup" Individual Competition

Taizhou Bridge Association of Zhejiang Province
1. Competition time and location
Held at Wenling International Hotel from November 21 to 23, 2008.
2. Organizer
The competition was organized by Wenling Bridge Association and co-organized by Zhejiang Jingfan Saddle Co., Ltd.
3. Participation
(1) Only 20 players can participate. On October 30, 2008, the top 18 players in the Taizhou Bridge Association’s rankings and the previous ace will be given priority to participate. The organizer can appoint one player to participate. If the bridge associations of counties (cities, districts) undertake the work, the designated candidates need to be reported to the Taizhou Bridge Association for approval. The 4 players after the last competition will not participate this year, and will be replaced by players ranked 19 and later.
(2) Players who are eligible to participate in the competition must register with the Taizhou Bridge Association (contact: Xia Jiangnan, Tel: 13705761658) before November 15, and they will be deemed to have given up the competition if the time is over.
(3) Players who are eligible to participate in the game will give up the game, and they will be replaced in turn by the players ranked after the rank.
(4) Players who have registered for the competition cannot participate in the competition for some reason and should ask for leave from the Taizhou Bridge Association Competition Committee. Those who do not apply for leave and do not participate in the competition will be punished by stopping participating in Taizhou-level competitions for one to two years, depending on the severity of the situation.
4. Competition method
(1) Adopt the five-table single shift method, 19 rounds of the competition, 6 decks of cards in each round, and scores according to IMP and MP respectively, and the overall ranking is determined according to the ranking of IMP and MP. If the overall ranking is the same, the MP ranked first will be ranked first.
(2) Implement the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association.
(3) Competition round arrangement: 5 rounds in the evening on the 21st, 5 rounds in the afternoon on the 22nd, 4 rounds in the evening, and 5 rounds in the afternoon on the 23rd.
(4) Adopt a unified individual bidding system.
5. Incentives
(1) The top eight candidates will be rewarded.
(2) Awarding the first mobile trophy to the "King of Brands Cup". Players who have won the first place twice or three times in a row will permanently win the "Ace of Cards Cup" trophy.
(3) Award the top 12 bridge grade points in Taizhou City.
(4) The last 4 players are temporarily unable to participate in the next year’s "Ace of Cards Cup" individual competition.
Six, check in
Participating athletes please report to Wenling International Hotel on the afternoon of the 21st.
7. Other matters
(1) Each participant needs to pay a registration fee of 50 yuan.
(2) Participants are responsible for their own transportation expenses, board and lodging expenses are free, and the organizer shall bear it.
