2021 Shanghai Bridge Youth Team Trials Competition Regulations

       In preparation for the National Bridge Youth Team Tournament to be held in Yantai, Shandong from May 1 to 5, 2021, the Shanghai Bridge Association is scheduled to compete in the U15, U20, U25, U25 women's groups on April 3-5 at the Shanghai Luwan Gymnasium. A selection system is implemented for athletes in individual groups, as follows:

1. Organizer Shanghai Bridge Association

2. Organizer Shanghai Luwan Gymnasium

3. Date and place of selection competition

1. Date: April 3-5, 2021 (the specific competition time will be announced later)

2. Venue: Luwan Gymnasium (No. 128, Zhaojiabang Road)

4. Selection competition items

1. U15

2. U20

3. U25

4. U25 Women

5. Participation method

 According to the "Notice on Organizing and Carrying out the Selection of the 2021 Shanghai Bridge Youth Team"

6. Competition method

1. Number of registered teams: less than 12 teams, the round-robin system is adopted, and the top four teams will participate in the knockout final;

2. Number of registered teams: more than 13 teams to less than 24 teams, the round-robin system is adopted, and the top four teams will participate in the final elimination system;

3. Number of registered teams: more than 24 teams, the points-based competition system is adopted, and the top eight teams will participate in the final elimination system;

The competition rules of the above-mentioned group selection competitions shall be implemented in accordance with the supplementary regulations of the competition.

7. Admission ranking

Selected teams will be selected according to the actual number of teams registered in Shanghai to participate in the National Youth Team Championships.

8. Matters not covered in this regulation shall be explained by the organizer
