17th BFAME CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013 (4th to 11th June 2013)
AT HYATT AHMEDABAD, INDIA
Further to our BFAME Circular-3 of 13th instant, I wish to inform all that the organizers have succeeded in negotiating an attractive deal with a five star hotel, Hyatt Ahmedabad, located in the heart of the city adjacent to Vastrapur Lake and the popular Alpha One Mall which has all the amenities which one would expect.
As such our 17th BFAME Championships venue shall now be at Hyatt Ahmedabad Hotel instead of the previous Gulmohar Greens which was in the outskirts of the city with insufficient number of rooms as per our requirements.
The room rates as negotiated are much lesser than the published rates and are inclusive of all taxes with full board like breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner and complimentary airport transfers.re
The rates will be as follows:
Hyatt King/Twin: Single occupancy US $ 120/- Double occupancy US$ 150/-
Hyatt Suite: US $ 190/- Single occupancy US $ 230/- Double occupancy

All bridge players are requested to mention BFAME Bridge Championships 2013 while doing their bookings as this is a special rate for the bridge players only.
Kindly let us know the number of teams your country would be participating so that we can finalize the format and other arrangements.
We shall appreciate if you could mail us their names, photographs (scanned copy to be attached with e-mails) for Identity Cards and the souvenir followed by their convention cards latest by_25th April’13 to any of the following addresses. The organizers have specially requested to provide passport copies in order to apply for permit for serving alcohol with dinner (at no extra cost) as Gujrat is a dry state for Indian nationals.

As already conveyed, Entry Fee for any one team like Open, Women or Seniors Team would be US$ 2,000/- each, however, a combined Entry fee for any two teams from the above would be US$ 3,500/- and similarly the combined Entry Fee for all three teams would be US$ 5,000/- . There shall be a discount of US$ 300/- per team provided if at least two rooms are taken at the venue hotel. However, there are no restrictions if a player decides to reside elsewhere and can do so if not restricted by visa conditions. In addition please ensure that payment of annual membership dues of BFAME & WBF are up to date.
Travel arrangements:
You may now proceed with your airline bookings. For those coming from Middle East, there are direct flights from Dubai (Emirates, Spicejet and FlyDubai), Etihad from Abu Dhabi and Qatar Airways from Doha. From Bangladesh domestic connections from Kolkata or New Delhi, from Pakistan through Mumbai or New Delhi and from Sri Lanka through Mumbai. Ahmadabad is less than an hour of flying distance away from Mumbai.
