Hosted by Guangdong Social Sports Center, Huizhou City Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism Bureau, Guangdong Bridge Association and Huizhou Bridge Association, the 2019 Guangdong Bridge Championship was successfully concluded on June 17th at Huizhou Tianyue Hotel. In this competition, there were 16 teams of Class A and 32 teams of Class B. Nearly 300 athletes from all over the country and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region conducted a four-day competition and decided to upgrade the teams at all levels.
After four days of fierce competition, in the end, the third-grade champion of the first-class championship was won by Guangzhou (Kapok) team, HKUST alumni team and Guangzhou Mingjian team. One to four of the second-class competitions were from Guangzhou “Deffu Cosmetics Team” and Guangzhou Zhaoheng. The team, Zhuhai Hangyue Electric Team, China's Hewlett-Packard team won, and upgraded to Class A. The award ceremony was held on the afternoon of June 17.
