"Qinye Cup" Regulations for Qinhuangdao Spring Festival Bridge Open in 2008

I. Date of Competition: January 26-27, 2008
2. Venue: Qinhuangdao Zhongmei Building
3. Organizer: Qinhuangdao City Bridge Association
    Organizer: Qinhuangdao Star Sky Bridge Club
    Co-organizer: China Petroleum Pipeline Qinjing Oil and Gas Branch
    Sponsor: Qinhuangdao Metallurgical Machinery Co., Ltd.
4. Competitions: (1) Open team competition (starting at 8:30 on the 26th)
             (2) Open doubles (starting at 8:30 on the 27th)
V. Participating units: Bridge enthusiasts can freely participate in the team
6. Participation methods:
  (1) Each team can report 4-6 athletes.
  (2) The participating teams shall pay for their own expenses.
Seven, the competition method:
    (1) Open team competition
    It is divided into two stages: preliminaries and finals.
    1. Preliminaries: Swiss shift. Perform 6 rounds, 8 rounds per round, and determine the ranking by 3:0 field points (the same score is used to compare VP and IMP rates, and then the same is drawn). The top four in the Swiss shift will enter the knockout round, and the other can participate in the open doubles;
    2. Final stage: Elimination.
 (1) Semi-final: The first place in the preliminary results is the right to choose opponents in the 3rd and 4th. There are 24 decks in the semi-final competition, divided into two sections. The winner entered the finals and the loser entered the 3 or 4 play-offs.
 (2) Finals: 32 finals in the final competition, divided into two sections. The winner is the first and the loser is the second.
 (3) 3, 4 play-offs: 24 decks in the play-off competition, divided into two sections. The winner is the third and the loser is the fourth.
    (2) Open doubles
    It is divided into two stages: preliminaries and finals.
    1. The preliminaries adopt the Mitchell system, take 6 tables to enter the finals, and the rest can participate in the comfort doubles;
    2. The finals are based on the Howell system; the comfort doubles is determined by the number of players.
Eight, admission rankings and rewards:
    (1) The top six candidates for the open team competition are awarded certificates, and the top four winners are awarded 2000, 1500, 1000, and 800 yuan respectively;
    (2) The top six candidates for the open doubles are awarded certificates, and the top six winners are awarded 1000, 700, 500, 400, 300, 200 yuan respectively;
    (3) The top two candidates for the comfort doubles, the prize money is 200, 100 yuan respectively;
    (4) One of the unwinning players in the Open Doubles and Comfort Doubles will draw a lucky prize of 200 yuan.
IX. Registration:
    (1) Registration method: Each team must send the registration form to Wang Zuolei of Qinhuangdao Vocational and Technical College by letter or email before January 25, 2008.     (2) Registration fee: 500 yuan/team for open team competition, 100 yuan/pair for open doubles (1 pair for the team that enters the finals in the open team, 3 pairs for free for the other teams), and the comfort doubles are free;
    (3) Room and board: 180 yuan / person. days;
    (4) Working meals (20 yuan / person. Meals) are arranged by the competition.
