Competition Rules for the Tianjin Youth Bridge Open Championship in 2019

V. Participating units and participation methods,


(1) Teaming in the name of the bridge association of the province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the Central Government, the city, the city bridge association, the school, and the training institution.


(2) Athletes participating in the competition must be individual members of the China Bridge Association.


(3) Adopting the method of public registration in the topic of China Bridge Network Events, the competition is limited to 100 teams, which is subject to the order of registration. ,


(4) Each team can report to the team, 1 coach, and 4-6 athletes.


(5) There is no registration fee for this competition. The travel expenses and room and board expenses of each team are self-care.


(6) Deadline for registration: September 20, 2019.


6. Athlete age limit and qualifications


Beginner group (within one year of age)


Beginner experience group: regardless of age (within six months of age, no bridge master)


U12 group: born after January 1, 2007


U14 group: born after January 1, 2005


U25 group: born after January 1, 1994


Seven. Competition methods


(1) U25 group (team competition)


Pre-finals, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. According to the registration situation, the competition method will be adjusted without changing the overall schedule. If the number of registration teams is small, there may be no quarter-final or non-stage competition; if the number of registration teams is small, it will be merged into the same group.


1. Preliminaries: Use group loop or point arrangement, arrange 7 rounds, 16 rounds per round, and take the top 8 to enter the quarter-finals.


2. Quarter-final, semi-final: 2 points, 16 cards per session.


3. Final: divided into 3 sections, 16 decks per section.


(2) Other group team competitions (except U25 group)


1. The first stage: points programming


U14 group/U12 group/minute A and B groups, 3 rounds per day, 14 decks per round, 6 rounds of competition, ranked by cumulative VP, 8 teams in the first 4 teams of the two groups are arranged according to group points The cumulative VP of the game will be discharged from 1-8 to the second stage.


Grouping principle: The relevant teams draw lots in different groups, and the remaining teams draw lots to decide their respective groups.


2. Second stage: knockout


Quarterfinal: The first stage 1-3 teams have the right to choose opponents from 5-8 teams in turn, while the first team has the right to choose the semifinal division. Conducted 28 decks of competitions, divided into 2 sessions, the winning team entered the semi-finals, and the negative teams ranked 5-8 according to the first stage results.


Semi-final: 28 decks of matches, divided into 2 sessions, the winning team entered the finals, and the negative team participated in three or four matches.


Finals and three or four competitions: 42 decks of competitions, divided into 3 sections.


(3) The beginner group/beginners experience group determines the registration system


Eight, ranking admission and reward


The top 8 awards for each group are awarded to the Masters of China Bridge Association according to the "China Bridge Association Member Technical Level Standard".


Nine, other


(1) The team must purchase personal accident insurance (including during the competition and on the way to and from the competition) and present it at the time of registration, otherwise they may not participate in the competition.
