2008 · "Global Connect" Cup Fujian Bridge Competition held in Sanming City from April 30th to May 3rd. There are eight cities and industries, enterprises, and grassroots in Fuzhou, Xiamen, Ningde, Sanming, Quanzhou, Nanping, Longyan, Putian. The bridge club has a total of 24 teams participating in the competition. The competition is divided into two groups, two groups. After four days of fierce competition, the Ningde Hospital team won the team championship, and the Fuzhou Tiandiren Team, Sanming City Team, and Xiamen Telecom Team won 2-4. Nanping City team won the first place in the Swiss competition (that is, the fifth place in the group), the provincial industrial equipment installation company team, the Yongan city government team, the Putian Netcom team, the Fuzhou Bank of Communications team and the provincial direct team won the Swiss system competition 2- 6 (6-10 in the team). Jiang Xunlu, Lin Shaoqin (Sanming), Zhu Yibin, Shan Rong (Sangang), Zhou Ying, Lin Aimei (Nanping Lanqiao), Shi Chuanwen and Lai Zenghui (Long Yan) won the first place in each of the doubles.
The competition was assisted by China Mobile Fujian Company Sanming Branch. The Sanming Bridge Association, as the organizer, did a lot of work for the smooth progress of the event. After consultations in various cities, the province's 2009 bridge game was held in Ningde.
