Supplementary Regulations of the 2008 National Middle School Bridge Championship


    1. The implementation of the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Contract Judgment Law (Trial)" in accordance with the provisions of this Law shall prevail.


2. Competition method


Team competition:


According to the registration situation: the competition method of the high school group and the junior high school group is the same.


The competition is divided into two stages:


In the first stage, Swiss competitions are used for 8 rounds, with 16 payouts per round. Ranked by VP total points.


The second stage is a knockout game: the first 1-4 teams in the first stage are Zone A, and the first team has the right to choose opponents among the third and fourth teams. The winning team enters the final, and the losing team plays the third and fourth places. The first 5-8 teams in the first stage are Zone B. The 5th team has the right to choose opponents among the 7th and 8th teams. The winning team will play the 5th and 6th places, and the losing team will perform the 7th and 8th places. 8 contests. The semi-finals, finals and play-offs all played 32 cards.


Doubles:


The doubles match is divided into two groups, with a total of one day. All points of the same level will be counted uniformly, and the ranking will be determined according to the average percentage of the two quarters. The higher ranks first.


3. Arrangement


(1) Swiss-made competition: The number of each team is determined by the referee ’s lottery.


(2) Home and away teams:

If the participating teams are odd, the lowest points or ranking (in the first round) will be the bye, but each team will be at most 1 bye.


(4) In a Swiss-made competition, if a team has scored one or more rounds and its score has been ensured to enter the next stage of the game, and it will not have any impact on its ranking, the team will not Participate in the remaining competitions of the Swiss competition stage.


4. Competition procedures


(1) The use of highly unusual (Hum) systems is prohibited in all competitions.


(2) All cards used in the competition are dealt by the players themselves, and the card types are copied on the card type cards without error.


(3) The contestants must bring this pair of Chinese agreement cards to participate in the competition.


(4) The bidding cards, push plates and screens are used in the competition.


(5) Inquiries and explanations about bidding and bidding systems are all carried out in writing.


(6) Nanjia is responsible for recording triplicate score sheets. The owner records a score sheet. The score sheet must state the time, group, round, room, name of the team and the names of the players. The result of the scoring shall be confirmed and signed by both parties before leaving the table after the game.


(7) Illegal bids on the same side of the screen must be changed before the push plate is pushed to the other side of the screen. Legal bids cannot be changed, except for immediate changes that comply with the rules.


(8) After the points of each round of the game are completed, the winning team (the home team will usually play the IMP) will return the score sheet signed by both parties to the record desk within 15 minutes after the end of the round of the game. For waiver, the non-responsible party will be scored according to the actual match result.


(9) Each pair of players in each round can only use psychological bids in one deck. Psychocalls are not allowed in double matches.


Five, with points


The team that entered the knockout stage in the Swiss system stage won the first place with a 1/2 of the IMP difference when the two teams met, and the Swiss team ranked the last win team with the 1/3 IMP difference when the two teams met with the highest score No more than 1/4 of the total number of cards in the knockout game.


Six, the method of determining the ranking when the points are the same


1. Compare the VP value, IMP value, and the ranking of multiple teams in the competition.


2. Compare the number of rounds won by the team concerned in all matches (excluding VP tie).


3. Compare the average opponent points of the relevant teams (the cumulative VP of all opponents encountered by a team divided by the number of rounds played by the team), and the highest ranks first.


4. Compare the IMP winning and losing rates of the relevant teams in all matches, with the highest ranking first.


5. If it is still the same, draw lots to decide.


Seven, game discipline:


(1) Strictly implement the regulations on competition discipline in the "Administrative Measures for Bridge Competition (Trial)" issued by the State Sports Commission.


(2) All personnel should close the communication tool when entering the stadium. During each round of the game, if there is a ringing or vibration of the mobile communication tool of the contestant, for the unanswered or unwatched, the team will deduct 2VP of the relevant team (12IMP during the knockout), and the match double system will deduct 1 deck. 40% of those who have received or watched will be disqualified from the team ’s participation in the remaining part of the round, and the score will be calculated as “withdrawal from the game”. Repeated or serious violations of this article will be subject to further penalties and may be partly suspended, the decision of the organizing committee.


(3) Pay attention to civility and courtesy, and enter the stadium with a neat dress and a valid certificate.


(4) Spectators are not allowed to move around to watch cards, and players who are not on the field are not allowed to watch their team's games.


(5) When leaving the seat, the contestant must obtain the consent of the referee and go with the opponent at the same table.


(6) During each round of competition, smoking is prohibited in the stadium and the area near the stadium. If an existing player violates this rule, the relevant team IVP will be deducted (6IMP will be deducted during the knockout). Participants who appear multiple times will be subject to further penalties and may be partially suspended, as determined by the organizing committee.


Eight, representation


(1) The competition arbitration committee shall accept the complaints of each team (pair).


(2) All appeals must be submitted to the referee within 15 minutes after the official score of the round is announced (the referee will execute the request if the referee requests otherwise), and perform the complaint procedures as required. The appeal fee is RMB 100 each time.
