The 3rd Xiamen Bridge Championship Team Competition was closed in Xiamen Eye Center from July 12th to 13th. A total of 16 bridge teams from Fujian Province and Xiamen City participated in this team competition. The game is divided into two stages, the first stage is divided into two groups in a single cycle, the top four are qualified for the knockout; the second stage is the knockout and the Swiss shift. The game was decided and rewarded the top four in the open team competition and the top three in the Swiss shift.
The first stage has ended on July 5th and 6th. The qualifying teams for the knockout are: Xiamen Radio & Television Bridge Club, CCB Bridge Club, Liangyi Bridge Club, Jianfa Bridge Club, Huaxia Bridge Club and Golden Bridge Club. After six rounds of intense competition in the second stage, Xiamen Jianfa Bridge Club played well, eliminated Huaxia Power and Bank of China, and finally won the open team championship by defeating Jinqiao 45:19, and the runner-up of Xiamen Golden Bridge Bridge Club. Xiamen University Bridge Club won the third place with a 60:24 victory over Xiamen Bank of China Bridge Club, and Xiamen Bank of China Bridge Club won the fourth place. The top three teams in the Swiss shift are: Xiamen CCB Bridge Club, Liangyi Bridge Club and Huaxia Power Bridge Club.
