Announcement on the holding of the "Chengda Cup" Beijing Bridge Team Series

The Beijing Bridge Association is scheduled to host the "Century Access Cup" Beijing Bridge Team Series in September.

2. Date and place of the competition:


Started on September 6, 2008 at the Beijing Bridge Association Activity Center.


3. Competition: Open Team Competition


4. Competition methods:


(1) Carry out in two stages. In the first stage, there are 8 independent units in total. Each unit uses Swiss-made team competitions, with four rounds and 7 decks in each round. After the end of the 8-unit competition, the team with the highest cumulative score of 16 entered the second stage. In the second stage, a double defeat elimination system was used, with 28 decks per game.


(2) Calculation of points: Each team will arrange points according to the ranking of each game. The score of each team in each game is equal to the number of participating teams in that field minus the ranking of the team in that game. For example: 18 teams compete, with 17 points for the first place, 16 points for the second place, and so on.


(3) When the top 16 accumulative teams enter the second stage, if the points are the same:


1. Compare the number of units you have participated in, and if more are listed first, if they are still the same;


2. Compare the integral value of any session of the participating unit, the higher one is at the top, if it is still the same;


3. The lottery determines the ranking.


(4) The competition adopts the 1999 "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Referee Law (Trial)".


(5) Players of each team shall have two copies of the agreed card, which shall be brought to the table during the game.


 


V. Incentive method:


(1) Admit the top eight.


(2) The champion will be eligible to represent the sponsoring unit to participate in the National Club Bridge Tournament held in Emei, Sichuan, in November this year, and will receive full entry fees.


(3) Second place to eighth place will be rewarded with 5000 yuan, 3000 yuan, 2000 yuan, 1500 yuan, 1500 yuan, 1000 yuan, 1000 yuan.


(4) The competition of each unit is awarded to the Masters of China Bridge Association.


6. Competition time:


(1) The first stage: September 6, September 7, September 13, September 14, 8 units in four days. September 6th and 14th are 8: 30-12: 30 am, 13: 30-17: 30 pm; September 7th and 13th are 13: 00-17: 00 pm and 18:00 ――22: 00. (Participants can choose some of the independent units)


(2) The second stage: September 15-20.


Seven, registration methods:


(1) The competition for each unit of each team is limited to 4 people.


(2) Each team needs to re-register in a new unit. They can substitute and retain the team name.


(3) Each team can reserve the registration for all units (each unit is limited to 32 teams).


(4) Registration fee: 80 yuan in cash per team. Hold a stored value gold card to enjoy 25% discount, 15% discount for silver card, 10% discount for ordinary card, 6.8% discount for senior card, and 6.8% discount for student card


(5) Registration time: from now until 10 minutes before the start of each unit competition.
