On August 7, 2020, the "China Sports Lottery Cup" 2020 Shenzhen University Student Bridge Network Open Individual Tournament came to an end. The competition is sponsored by Shenzhen Chess Academy and undertaken by Shenzhen Vocational and Technical College and Shenzhen Nanshan Bridge Association. The Guangdong Bridge Association is a supporting unit. The competition is funded by the China Sports Lottery Charity Fund.


The competition was held on the Xinrui platform. The competition lasted for 7 days. 88 college students and young bridge enthusiasts from across the province participated in the competition. Among the players participating in the individual competition, most of the athletes who have represented Guangdong in the 13th National Games, the 4th National Mind Games, and the National Youth Bridge Championship in recent years have participated in the open individual competition.


After 7 rounds of intense points arrangement, Ma Weijun from Sun Yat-sen University won the first place, with a household registration in Guangzhou, Wen Huiyu, currently studying at Renmin University of China, won the second place, with a household registration in Shenzhen, Huang Jingyun, currently studying at Wuhan University, won Finished third.


All events of the Shenzhen University Bridge Network Competition are expected to end in late August.
