        Jinhua City Sports Bureau, Wuyi County People’s Government and Jinhua City Sports Federation will host the "Jinhua•Wuyi Hot Spring Cup" Bridge Mixed Double Open at the Mingzhao Hot Spring International Hotel in Wuyi County on November 7-9. This is Jinhua City In the first open bridge competition, each pair of players consists of 1 male and 1 female, and there is no limit to the region of the players. The detailed procedures are as follows:

3. Competition time and location


From November 7th to November 9th, 2008 (Friday-Sunday), it was held at Mingzhao Hot Spring International Hotel, Wuyi County, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province.


4. Competition method


1. In the first stage, there will be three rounds of Mitchell preliminaries. The seats in the first round will be determined by lottery, and the subsequent rounds will be arranged in a serpentine pattern according to the accumulated points of the previous round;


In the second stage, the top 16 players in the preliminaries will be selected for a round of Mitchell finals;


(24 pairs per round of pre-finals)


2. Adopt the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules". The game prohibits the use of unusual systems such as psychological bidding, brown contract bidding, and weak opening bidding;


3. Contestants must bring the agreement card in duplicate to the table.


5. Incentives


According to the total score, the top eight will be awarded with prizes, 10,000 yuan for the first place, 5,000 yuan for the second place, 2,000 yuan for the third place, and 500 yuan for the fourth-eighth place. At the same time, trophies are awarded to the top three players. All participating athletes will get an exquisite souvenir with Wuyi characteristics.

1. All bridge fans can register for the competition;


2. Early registration: The deadline for registration is the end of October. Limited to 100 pairs of players;

7. Registration fee


The registration fee for this competition is 100 yuan/pair, which will be collected at the time of registration.


8. Board and lodging expenses


Participants are responsible for their own board and lodging expenses. Meal fee: 80 yuan/person/day; accommodation fee: 245 yuan/room for standard rooms (four-star hotel), plus extra for deluxe rooms and single rooms.
