Supplementary Notice for 2008 National Bridge Club Championship

    The 2008 National Bridge Club Championships will be held in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province from November 9th to 16th. The supplementary notice of the competition-related matters is as follows:


1. Registration:


(1) Registration unit: Club members registered before 2007 of the China Bridge Association can apply for 1 team to participate.


(2) The participating athletes must be individual members of the Chinese Bridge Association. At least 4 registered full-time players for each team in Category A clubs. Athletes participating in Category B clubs must be full members of the club.


(3) The participating clubs must submit one copy of the registration form to the China Bridge Association and the Emeishan Culture and Sports Bureau before October 20. If the application is overdue, it will be considered as a waiver.

2. Registration:


(1) Referees and arbitration committee members report on November 7.


(2) The participating teams report on November 8.

3. Board and lodging:


The board and lodging will be arranged by the conference, and each team will pay for it.


(1) Huasheng Hotel in Emeishan City:


1. Quasi-five-star standard room in Ginza (137 rooms) 280 yuan/person/day


2. Four-star standard room (152 rooms) 220 yuan/person/day


3. Samsung standard room (27 rooms) 180 yuan/person/day


4. Four-star single room (14 rooms) 400 yuan/person/day


(The above can accommodate 646 people)


5. Semi-five-star single room in Ginza (9 rooms) 500 yuan/person/day


6. Semi-five-star suite in Ginza (5 rooms) 1480 yuan/person/day


(2) Yinhua Hotel in Emeishan City:


1. Three-star suite (1 room) 800 yuan/person/day


2. Samsung Single Room (2 rooms) 350 yuan/person/day


3. Samsung standard room (71 rooms) 180 yuan/person/day


4. Samsung Triple Room (5 rooms) 150 yuan/person/day


(Can accommodate 160 people)


The above fees include breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets.


As Emeishan City is an excellent tourist scenic spot in the country, housing is very tight. Please indicate the hotel, standard, contact person and contact number for each team when registering. Teams outside Sichuan Province will give priority to reservations. If you have other needs, you can directly contact the contact person in the competition area.


4. Transportation:


(1) Chengdu Airport: Take a local transportation vehicle or taxi to Chengdu North Railway Station or Chengdu Xinnanmen Station and transfer to a train or car.


1. Transfer by train: The journey from Chengdu North Railway Station to Emeishan Railway Station takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.


2. Transfer by car: Chengdu Xinnanmen Station (every 15 minutes) to Emeishan City takes about 2 hours.


(2) Emei Railway Station: Beijing to Panzhihua and Xi'an to Kunming can be reached directly via Emei Railway Station. You can take a bus or taxi from Emei Railway Station to the registration location (about 3 kilometers).
