1. Organizers: Xi'an Sports Bureau, Xi'an Bridge Association.
2. Time and place: From December 20th to 21st, 2008, from 8:30 am every day. In the Northwest Power Construction Conference Center.
3. Competition item: Open double match
4. Competition method:
1. The pre-match accepts 44 pairs of players to register. The pre-match will be divided into two groups for two rounds of Mitchell. Each group will take the east and the west, the top three from the north and south to enter the finals. Those who do not enter the final can participate in the consolation match.
2. In the final, there will be two rounds of Howell competition system, and the ranking will be determined by the cumulative results of the two rounds.
3. Two rounds of Mitchell competition will be conducted in the consolation match, and the ranking will be determined by the accumulated results.
4. Players who have represented provinces, cities, and major national competitions in the past five years are not allowed to pair up with each other (women and elderly players are not subject to this restriction).
5. Ranking and awards: The prize of this competition is 10,000 yuan. All 12 pairs of contestants entering the final will receive rewards, and the top two consolation matches will be rewarded.
6. Registration method: Due to venue restrictions, this competition accepts up to 44 pairs of contestants to register. According to the order of registration, they can register by mobile phone contact. Mobile phone number: 13319255583 will charge 50 yuan for each pair of contestants.
