2020 National Bridge Youth Team Competition Rules


1. Competition date and location


It will be held in Penglai City, Shandong Province from January 16 to 20, 2020.

3. Competition items


(1) Championship: U15 group, U20 group, U25 group, U25 women's group


(2) Open: U15 Group, U20 Group, U25 Group, U30 Group, U15 Women's Group, U25 Women's Group


4. Participating Units and Participation Methods


(1) Championship


1. The bridge associations of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and cities specifically designated in the plan form a team to participate.


2. Each province, autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government, and city specifically designated in the state plan can register up to one team for each group of the bridge association.


(2) Open


All member units, schools, training institutions and individuals of the China Bridge Association can freely form teams to participate.


(3) The total scale of the competition is limited to 220 teams (including championships and open competitions). Each team can report to the team leader, 1 coach, and 4-6 athletes.


(4) Each team shall pay for the participation fee.


5. Athlete qualifications


(1) All participating athletes must be individual non-arrears members of the China Bridge Association with good status and health.


(2) Athletes participating in the championship shall be determined by their household registration and school status. Athletes who are not registered or registered in the local area shall not participate.


(3) There are no qualification restrictions for athletes participating in the Open, and they are free to choose a category that meets the requirements of the competition based on their age and gender.


(4) Age requirements for athletes in each group


1. U15 group: athletes should be born after January 1, 2005.


2. U20 group: athletes should be born after January 1, 2000.


3. U25 group: athletes should be born after January 1, 1995.


4. U30 group: athletes should be born after January 1, 1990.


6. Competition method


(1) The competition method of each group depends on the registration situation.


(2) The competition adopts "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules (2018)".


(3) Each pair of players brings two copies of the system card to the table during the game.


7. Ranking admission and rewards


(1) The top 6 teams will be admitted in each category, and the top 3 teams will be admitted with less than 6 teams.


(2) The competitions of each group are awarded to the China Bridge Association Master points according to the "China Bridge Association Member Technical Level Standards". The championships are awarded according to the national competition (Type 1) standards, and the Open competitions are awarded according to the national competition (Type 2) standards. Master points.


(3) Championship U15, U20, U25, U25 women's champion teams will represent China in the 2020 international youth bridge competitions (except the World Youth Championship) corresponding group competitions.


(4) If the champion team is unable to participate in the competition, they will be filled in order according to their ranking. The scope and order of each group will be: Championship champion, runner-up, third runner-up, open champion, open runner-up. The champion and runner-up of the Open U15 women's group are ranked after the open U15 group or the open U25 women's runner-up.


(5) The teams ranked in the above range can register for various international youth bridge competitions in 2020 before the specified deadline. If the competition has a limit on the number of teams or offers preferential entry conditions for some teams, the team with the highest ranking among the registered teams Priority entry or discount. If there is no qualification restriction, all teams from the above range can register for the competition in the name of the Chinese Youth X Team.


8. Registration and registration


(1) Registration


1. Each team must submit one copy of the registration form to the China Bridge Association and the competition area before December 31, 2019, and to register in the China Bridge Network event at the same time. Overdue will be considered as a waiver. When registering, please provide proof of identity and age (identity card, household register or proof of student status, one of the three is fine), otherwise the registration is deemed invalid.

2. Entry fee


(1) Tournament: no entry fee


(2) Open: 600 yuan/team, collected by the organizer.


3. Change the list


(1) Within 5 days after the registration deadline, each team can submit a written form to the China Bridge Association to change the list (including changing team names, adding, reducing, changing athletes, correcting registration errors, etc.).


(2) If you change the name list 5 days after the registration deadline, you must fill in the change list application form and submit it to the competition group before the start of the first game. A handling fee of 100 yuan will be charged for each change.


(2) Registration


The referees will report to the competition area 2 days before the match, and each team will report to the competition area 1 day before the match.


9. The methods for the selection and appointment of referees and arbitration committees shall be formulated separately.


10. Other


(1) When registering, each participating unit must submit proof of personal accident insurance on the way to and from the competition area and during the competition, otherwise the competition will not be accepted. All personnel including participating athletes, such as injuries, accidents, etc. in the competition area, shall be specifically responsible for their units, and the organizing committee will try to provide humanitarian and medical assistance.


(2) The team leader meeting is scheduled to be held at 20:30 one day before the game. Each team must be attended by the team leader or coach.


(3) Matters not covered will be notified separately.
