Supplementary Provisions of the Interim Regulations on Competition Discipline of China Bridge Association


Chapter 1 General


    The first item


    In order to actively adapt to the development of network bridge events and the application of various new technological means in bridge events, further regulate the healthy development of bridge events, create a fair bridge competition environment, establish a standardized game order, and prevent and punish violations of sports ethics and competition Feng Saiji’s behavior effectively protects the legitimate rights and interests of all organizations and personnel related to bridge competitions. According to the "Chinese Bridge Association Regulations", "China Bridge Association Member Management Measures" and "China Bridge Competition Rules", the original "China Bridge Association Competition" The Interim Disciplinary Regulations have been further supplemented and improved, and this supplementary regulation has been formulated.


    Article 2 Scope and subject


Scope of application: all types of bridge competitions at all levels within the competition system of the China Bridge Association (hereinafter referred to as China Bridge Association), including network bridge competitions and venue bridge competitions.


Applicable subjects: Chinese Bridge Association members and individual members, team-related personnel, event organizing committees and event organizers, online event platforms and their staff, other units and individuals related to the Chinese bridge sport.


Punishment effectiveness: The "Chinese Bridge Association's Interim Regulations on Competition Discipline" and these supplementary regulations apply to both online and field games. All penalties made will also apply to network and field events within the subsequent penalty period. If this supplementary regulation is inconsistent with the relevant provisions of the "Chinese Bridge Association Interim Regulations on Competition Discipline", this supplementary regulation shall prevail.


Chapter II Penalties for Violation of Regulations and Discipline


Article 3 Athletes use other people's account equipment to participate in online competitions as substitutes, or use multiple devices or multiple accounts to compete in the same competition. Depending on the circumstances, the athletes involved (including imposters and those who are intended to be imposters) or the participating teams (pairs, people) shall be punished: cancellation of qualifications and results for certain competitions, cancellation of qualifications and results of the current competition, and suspension of 1-3 years.


Article 4 During the competition, if the competition is carried out through auxiliary means such as communication, intelligent AI equipment, and other people's guidance, the person involved will be banned for 5 years; the team (pair, person) will be disqualified and criticized for this competition.


Article 5 During the competition, various illegal means are used to transmit, divulge and obtain information about the game cards or the progress of the game. Depending on the severity of the circumstances, the individual involved will be banned from the competition for 3-5 years; the team (pair, person) will be disqualified and criticized for this competition.


Article 6 During the competition, if various illegal means agreed in advance are used to transmit, disclose and obtain information about the game cards or the progress of the game. The person involved is personally banned for 5 years; the team (pair, person) is disqualified and criticized for this competition, and depending on the severity of the circumstances, the involved sports team (pair) will be suspended for 3-5 years.


Article 7 Anyone who has verbal conflicts with opponents and partners in online arenas and cyberspace (including various event liaison groups), uses uncivilized language to cause trouble, attacks and slanders others, and has a negative impact on the game, depending on the severity of the situation, Punishment: notification of criticism, cancellation of qualifications and results for certain competitions, cancellation of qualifications and results of this competition, and suspension of 1-3 years.


Article 8. In youth bridge competitions, athletes appear in Article 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 17, 18, 19 and 2 of the Interim Regulations on Competition Discipline of China Bridge Association. Article 11, as well as one of the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh circumstances of this supplementary provision, in addition to penalizing the individual involved, the following penalties will be imposed on the relevant coaches of the involved sports team depending on the severity of the circumstances :


1. Suspend his teaching qualifications for 1-5 years;


2. Permanent suspension of his teaching qualifications;


During the penalty period, it is not allowed to form a team as a team leader or coach to participate in any international or domestic bridge competition on behalf of the Chinese youth team.


Chapter III Supplementary Provisions


Article 9 This regulation is interpreted by the Disciplinary Inspection Committee of the China Bridge Association. The Chinese Bridge Association can make necessary amendments according to the implementation situation and the actual development of bridge sports.


Article 10 These regulations shall be implemented from the date of promulgation.
