2020 National College Student Bridge Network Challenge Competition Rules

1. Organizer

2. Competition items: Open team competition, women's team competition


3. Participation


Only the member units of the Bridge Branch of the China University Sports Association can participate, and the team members must be students of the school. The member units of the club can report to a team according to the group, each team can report 4-6 athletes and 1 contact.


4. Competition method


(1) Preliminaries: There are 9 rounds of points arrangement for the open team-style competition, and 8 rounds of the points arrangement for the women's team-style competition, each with 8 decks of cards. The first round of the match will be decided by the referee team. Starting from the second round, the points will be arranged according to the ranking of the previous round. The top 8 teams in total and qualified for the challenge enter the knockout round.


(2) Elimination rounds: automatic match-up matches according to the preliminaries ranking. Both the quarter-finals and the semi-finals played 16 decks of cards. The losing team in the quarter-finals is ranked 5th to 8th according to the preliminary results; the losing team in the semifinals is ranked 3rd to 4th according to the preliminary results. The championship and runner-up competitions were divided into two quarters with 32 decks of cards.


(3) The competition implements the 2018 "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" and "China Bridge Competition Rules Supplementary Regulations (2020)" of the China Bridge Association.


5. Competition time and competition platform

The preliminaries will start on August 5th, with 2 or 3 rounds a day, each round takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. The specific game time is given in the supplementary regulations of the game.

6. Registration


Each team must fill in the list of their team's participants through the China Bridge.com event topic before 24:00 on August 3rd. The name of the team member and the nickname of Xinrui must be filled in accurately, as the basis for checking the list of appearances. The nickname can be directly filled in the registration topic or added in the personal member information. Each team must fill in the player information in the Xinrui platform event topic with the entry password before 22:00 on August 3, and the player nickname information must be consistent with China Bridge Network to be valid. After the start of the competition, it is not allowed to increase or adjust the participants. Those who have not registered and passed the review in the special topic of the competition shall not participate.


Before the game, the conference affairs team established a WeChat group, and only one leader of each team was allowed to enter, and the nickname should be marked "school + name" in detail. Each team should exchange system cards with their opponents in advance to understand the opponent's system and signals. The electronic version of the Chinese system card must be marked with the user's name and Xinrui's nickname in the file name. If the whole team uses the same system card, the note is for a team.


7. Competition rewards


(1) The top 8 in each group received a certificate issued by the China University Sports Association.


(2) The winners of the competition will be awarded the network master points of the China Bridge Association in accordance with the "Technical Grade Standards for Chinese Bridge Association Members".
