In order to enrich the fitness needs of the vast number of elderly bridge enthusiasts, the city’s senior sports agreement will hold the 2019 Mianyang Senior Citizens Bridge Competition at the Mianyang Senior Officials Activity Center from December 7 to December 8, 2019. The competition rules are now printed and distributed to you. Please prepare quickly and actively form a team to participate.

7. Participants


    All districts, cities, counties, municipal agencies, enterprises and institutions, social organizations, colleges and universities.


8. Entry method


    1. The participating unit can report one team leader, one coach, and 4-6 team members;


2. There is no restriction on the gender of the athlete, and the date of birth must be before December 31, 1964 (male) and before December 31, 1969 (female)


3. Participants must be healthy and able to participate in the competition.


    4. Each team takes care of board and lodging by itself.


9. Competition method


    1. Competition method


Adopting points arrangement, a total of seven rounds of competition, each round with 12 decks of cards, ranked according to the accumulated VP points;


    2. The competition adopts the 2018 "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association. 3. Players participating in the competition must bring the agreed card in duplicate to the table.


10. Admission Ranking and Rewards


    1. The ranking is based on one third of the actual number of participating teams. The champion will be awarded a mobile trophy. For those who maintain the champion for three consecutive years, the trophy will be honored by the team. Individuals will issue certificates of achievement.


    2. According to the "Technical Grade Standards for Chinese Bridge Association Members", the master points of China Bridge Association are awarded.


11. Registration and registration


    1. Start registration from the start of the procedure, and the deadline for registration is November 30, 2019. Registration fee is waived for this competition. Contact person for registration: Luo Zhiyi, Tel: 15881640348.


    2. The participating team members fill out the voluntary safety responsibility form and sign their names.


    3. Before 9:00 a.m. on December 7, 2019, report to the reading room on the second floor of the Municipal Activity Center for Veterans and participate in the joint meeting.
