2020 "Yongjiang Cup" National Bridge Class A Club Network Competition Competition rules

4. Participating Units


A bridge club officially registered in China Bridge Association in 2020.


5. Participation


(1) All participating athletes must be registered athletes of the China Bridge Association in 2020, and be non-payment individual members of the China Bridge Association. The representative qualifications of participating athletes are subject to the category A clubs registered in 2020.


(2) Each club is allowed to register no more than 4 athletes who are not registered in other category A clubs based on the existing registered athletes. Temporary exchanges of athletes are allowed between each category A club, and the number of exchanges for each club shall not exceed 2 people (including transfer in and out), and the communication procedures shall be completed before the registration deadline.


(3) Sub-station competition: Each club sends 1 team to participate. For each race, each team can report one leader, one coach, and 4-6 athletes.


(4) Finals: 1 team will be sent to each of the top 4 in the sub-station competition. Each team can report one leader, one coach, and 4-6 athletes.


(5) The first and second races will take the form of offline centralized and online competitions and will be conducted on the bridge circle network platform. According to the distribution of athletes in the national bridge A clubs, a number of sub-fields are set up in the cities where each club is located or where the athletes are relatively concentrated. Athletes go to the nearest sub-court to compete. The China Bridge Association dispatches supervisors and referees to each sub-field to supervise the whole process. The referee team and the arbitration committee accept calls and appeals online.


(6) The format of the finals will be notified after the epidemic situation is determined.


(7) The registration fee is waived for the competition, and each team shall pay for its own participation.


6. Competition method


(1) The first stop and the second stop: single round robin. There are 3 games every day, each with 16 decks of cards, ranked by VP points. After accumulating VP points in the two stations, the top 4 entered the finals.


(2) Finals


The winning zone has 96 pairs per game, divided into 6 quarters, 16 pairs per quarter; the losing zone has 64 pairs per game, divided into 4 quarters, 16 pairs per quarter. Each game is determined by IMP. The IMP is the same, and the team with the highest ranking in the sub-station wins.


1. The first round of elimination: 96 pairs in the competition, divided into 6 quarters, 16 pairs in each quarter. The first-placed team in the race has the right to choose opponents from the second-placed teams. The winning team enters the second round of the elimination zone, and the losing team enters the second round of the elimination zone.


2. The second round of elimination: the winning team in the winning zone enters the final, and the losing team enters the third round of the elimination round. The winning team from the losing zone enters the losing zone in the third round of the knockout round and is fourth in the total score of the losing queue.


3. The third round of knockout: the winning team enters the final, and the losing queue is third in total.


4. Finals: The winning team wins the championship and the losing team wins the runner-up.


(3) The competition implements the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" and the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules Supplementary Regulations (2020)" approved by the China Bridge Association in 2018.


(4) The complete electronic version of the Chinese system cards and their attached pages of all teams must be sent to ccba@sport.gov.cn during registration.


7. Competition rewards


(1) Admission ranking and rewards


1. Take the top 4 overall results.


2. The top 3 in each station of the sub-station competition.


3. The rankings will be awarded with medals and certificates in the National Bridge Competition issued by the China Bridge Association.


(2) Master points


1. Ranking points


The sub-stations will be awarded ranking points according to 30% of the final master points. The finals will be awarded to the Masters of the China Bridge Association according to the "Technical Grade Standards for Chinese Bridge Association Members".


2. Winning points


In the round-robin stage of the sub-station, each win will get 2 master points, and a tie will get 1 master point.


8. Competition registration


(1) All units must submit the registration form of the station to the China Bridge Association and fill in the registration information on the China Bridge Network event 7 days before the start of each competition. The bridge circle ID must be filled in at the same time.

10. Other


(1) The team leader meeting is scheduled to be held in the Tencent meeting room at 20:00 one day before the game. Each team must be attended by the team leader or coach.
