Rules for the 27th "Balling Cup" Bridge Invitational Tournament in Zhejiang Province


1. Time and place


Held in Lishui City from September 13th to 15th, 2008.


2. Undertaking Unit


Entrusted with Lishui Overseas Chinese and Taiwan (Foreign Affairs) Office and Lishui Sports General Office.


3. Guests


Invite celebrities from all walks of life in Zhejiang Province, their respective cities and regions, cadres of state agencies, senior intellectuals in education, culture, science and technology, and friends from Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan to participate.


4. Participation method


(1) Register with the official invitation issued by Zhejiang Bridge Association.


(2) Cooperating pairs in the competition must have a total age of 100 years old, and the minimum age of each participant must not be less than 50 years old.


(3) Participants must be individual members of the China Bridge Association. Those who do not have an individual membership card of the China Bridge Association must apply before the competition (except for Hong Kong, Macau Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan).


(4) All invited participants choose their own partners and indicate when registering. At least one of the pairings is a professor, associate professor, senior coach, senior engineer, chief or deputy chief physician, cadres at or above the deputy division level, and other celebrities or Equivalent to the above-mentioned professional title.


(5) Each pair of players pays 100 yuan for the registration fee.


5. Competition method


(1) Play against style matches.


Group competition by age: Bailing Group A, the minimum age is 60 years old, the total of the two is over 120 years old;


                  For Bailing Group B, the minimum age is 50 years old, and the total of the two is over 100 years old.


The competition is divided into two stages: the preliminary and the final.


The first round of lottery will be conducted by the competition team and the chief referee, and will be announced before the game. From the second round onwards, it will be arranged by the computer according to the results.


(2) Implement the 1999 "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association.


(3) It is forbidden to use unusual bidding systems such as weak opening bids. The use of psychological calls is prohibited. Each pair of players must fill in the agreement card and bring it to the arena for backup.


6. Admission rankings and rewards


(1) The top six and the top three in each group will be awarded trophies.


(2) All contestants will be given souvenirs.


Seven, registration, registration

8. Participation fees


The board and lodging fee for each player is 150 yuan per person per day.


9. Matters not covered will be notified by the organizer separately.
