On day-3 of the tournament, the remaining 4 rounds of the all-play-all round-robin were completed. The following 3 teams from each group qualified for the super league (5 * 10 boards).
Group – A
1. Dhampur Sugar Mills – 259
2. Kr. Vijayanand Singh – 250
3. Mohit Mehta – 249
Group – B
1. Pradeep Five – 250
2. Milan Roy – 244
3. Brahmas – 225
Maya Meera Sneha with 224 VPs were unlucky not to make it to super league from Group-B.
2 Rounds of the Super-League have been completed and the remaining 3 rounds will be played on the last day. Milan Roy with 44 VPs are leading after 2 rounds, followed by Kr. Vijayanand Singh with 38 VPs.
The non-qualifiers played the first session of 18 boards in the Pairs event. R.N. Gupta – Prakash Bhandari with a score of 65.2% are the leaders after 1st session followed by M.K. Bhargava – Suniti Rathore with 63.4%. The 2nd session will be played on last day.
