Supplementary Regulations for the "Beijing Thermal Design Cup" Network Bridge Competition of the Twelfth Beijing Sports Conference
The competition implements the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" 2018 edition and the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules Supplementary Regulations (2020)". If there is any inconsistency with this regulation, this regulation shall prevail.
1. Competition Arrangement
(1) The 32 teams in the finals will automatically match up and perform 5 single defeats, each with 16 decks of cards, and the IMP will determine the winner. If both sides have the same IMP, the former will win the preliminaries.
The first game: the winning team enters the second game, the losing team is eliminated, and the ranking is ranked according to the preliminary results (17-32);
Game 2: The winning team enters the third game, the losing team is eliminated, and the ranking will be arranged according to the preliminaries (9-16);
Game 3: The winning team enters the 4th game, the losing team is eliminated, and the ranking will be arranged according to the preliminary results (5-8);
Game 4: The winning team enters the fifth final to compete for the top two, and the losing team enters the fifth play-off to compete for the third or fourth place.
Game 5: The winning team in the final is the champion, and the losing team is the runner-up; the three or four winners of the play-offs are the third runner-up, and the losing team is the fourth.
(2) Before each game in the preliminary and final matches, the team will announce the match list. The home team will sit north and south in the open room, and sit east and west in the closed room. The away team is the opposite.
(3) The captain of the home team of each game in the preliminary and final stages is the homeowner and is responsible for arranging seats for the players from both sides. The visiting team will provide a list of players in the public chat area of the room 10 minutes before the start of the game.
(4) The Beijing Jingneng men's team in the challenge is always the home team, sitting north and south in the open room, sitting east and west in the closed room, and the visiting team is the opposite.
2. Preparation before the game
(1) Each contestant in the final must download the Tencent Conference APP on another mobile phone or tablet with camera function and be familiar with its related operations.
(2) For all finalists, please change the nickname of the bridge circle and the personal name of the Tencent meeting to be the same, the format is "real name (team name)", such as: Kang Meng (Beijing Jingneng).
3. Competition procedure
(1) About reminders and explanations
1. The game is carried out as a game with a screen, and the bids that need to be reminded should be reminded and explained by the caller using the ALT function of the bridge circle. If you fail to remind or explain in time, you can click on the order to supplement the reminder or explain at any time; but if the delayed reminder or explanation misleads the other party's behavior, it will be handled in accordance with the relevant rules. The partner shall not use any other method to remind.
2. Both players can use the "same side" chat area for inquiries and explanations.
3. Failure to remind, inquire, and explain in the above manner will be regarded as not reminded or explained, and may be punished for producing illegal information.
(2) Regarding the supervision mechanism
1. Players in the finals should log in to the conference room as required by the organizing committee during the competition, turn on the camera throughout the process and ensure sufficient power, and cooperate with the referee for remote supervision.
2. The electronic device used to turn on the camera should be placed in front of the contestant. The screen must be able to capture the face and hands of the contestant, but not the card game interface.
3. Players participating in the live broadcast should ensure that their sitting posture is correct, their clothing is tidy, and that they maintain a good appearance during the competition.
(3) During the competition, it is not allowed to write content that is irrelevant to the competition in the dialog box, and it is not allowed to write uncivilized and impolite language. Once discovered, the team will be immediately disqualified from the competition, and the offenders will be further investigated for related responsibilities.
Fourth, the game time
(1) Time limit for playing: All players in the preliminary stage must be seated 10 minutes before the specified start time of the game; all players in the final stage must enter the Tencent meeting room 30 minutes before the specified start time of the game and be seated at the table. All participants must follow the arrangements of the referees and management personnel to compete.
(2) Competition time limit: Preliminaries: 120 minutes/12 pairs
Final: 150 minutes/16 pairs
Five, call a referee
1. Try not to call referees during the game. If there are problems such as interpretation errors, wrong points, etc., you can save the screenshots of the card types, bidding process, chat history, etc. of the problematic cards before exiting at the end of the game, within 30 minutes of the end time stipulated by the current round (section). Call a referee.
2. If it is necessary to call a referee during the game, such as disagreement with the claim, uncivilized behavior, etc., please inform the opponent at the same table first, and then call the referee.
6. Appeal
There will be no arbitration committee in this competition. For disputed penalties, the chief referee will perform the arbitration procedures, accept appeals, and make a final decision after full consultation and hearing of relevant opinions.
