3. Competition time: July 6th to 10th, 2009.
4. Venue: Xiuhu Villa, Emeishan City
V. Competition items: Senior team-style match; Senior double match.
6. Participants: Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi are limited to 4 teams, and Sichuan is limited to 8 teams, for a total of 24 teams.
7. Entry method:
1. Elderly bridge friends from the five provinces and cities in the southwest, males 60 weeks old and females 55 years old and above can form a team to participate, and each team is allowed to have one player floating by 5 years old according to the above age.
2. Each team must be responsible for the health and safety of its athletes. Participants must apply for personal accident insurance.
3. Each team can report one team leader, one coach, 4-6 athletes, and two pairs of doubles.
4. The registration fee for this competition is 50 yuan/person.
8. Competition method:
1. The team competition is divided into two stages: preliminary and final.
The first stage: The preliminaries are based on the Swiss Shift Tournament. There are 10 rounds, 12 decks of cards in each round, and 4 rounds a day. According to the accumulation of VP, the highest ranked first, and the top 8 will enter the second stage.
The second stage: The final stage will be a knockout game. There are 3 games in total, two games a day, 24 decks of cards in each game, divided into two quarters, and points are scored according to IMP. In the first round of the finals (elimination 1-1), the first to third players in the preliminary rounds will be selected against the opponents in sequence from 5 to 8. The winner enters the semi-finals, and the loser enters the knockout 2-1. The two winners of the semi-finals enter the final. The winning team is the champion of the competition, and the losing team is the runner-up; the loser enters the 3rd and 4th knockout rounds. The winning team is ranked third in this competition and the losing team is ranked third in this competition. 4; the two wins (losses) of the 2-1 knockout round will enter the 5th, 6th (7, 8) knockout rounds. The winning team is the 5th (7) and the losing team is the 6th (8). name. The second and third knockout rounds will be conducted in a pre-scheduled manner.
2. The double match will be divided into two stages: preliminary and final.
The first stage: Group Mitchell two games, one day finish. The top 5 teams/groups were admitted, a total of 10 pairs entered the finals.
The second stage: Howell (five tables) one game, 9 rounds, 2 pairs/round, half-day end.
9. The competition implements the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judgment Law".
10. All participating athletes must bring the "Agreement Card" to the competition.
11. Admission and Reward
The top 8 in the senior team-style competition, and the top 6 in the senior double competition.
12. Registration and registration
1. The participating units in each province, city and area shall be registered by the provincial and municipal bridge associations or relevant departments. 2. All participating teams are requested to report to the competition area on July 5. From the Emeishan Railway Station or the long-distance passenger station to the South Section of Mingshan South Road (Exiu Lake), Xiuhu Villa, Emeishan City, the taxi fare is about 20 yuan/car. There are several trains and long-distance buses from Chengdu to Mount Emei.
13. Expenses:
All participating teams are responsible for their own transportation, board and lodging expenses. The conference charges 160 yuan/person.day for room and board.
14. The referees for this competition will be selected by the Sichuan Bridge Association.
