There are total 26 teams participating in the Team of Four event. The no. of teams this year are less because of calamity in Uttarakhand. The teams are divided in 2 sections “A” & “B” and with a BYE team in both the sections, it is an all-play-all within a group. After 13 rounds of 10 boards, the TOP 3 teams will qualify for the super-league. The super-league will be of another 5 sessions of 10 boards (Total 6 teams – all play all). The non-qualifiers will play a 2-session pair event.

There are total 26 teams participating in the Team of Four event. The no. of teams this year are less because of calamity in Uttarakhand. The teams are divided in 2 sections “A” & “B” and with a BYE team in both the sections, it is an all-play-all within a group. After 13 rounds of 10 boards, the TOP 3 teams will qualify for the super-league. The super-league will be of another 5 sessions of 10 boards (Total 6 teams – all play all). 3 rounds were played on day-1 and 6 rounds on day-2. The results after 9 rounds (out of 13) is attached. Constellation is leading with 180 VPs, followed by Kr. Vijayanand Singh (177) and Dhampur Sugar Mills (176) in Group A. Brahmas is leading in Group B with 170 VPs, followed by Milan Roy (168) and Pradeep Five (166).
Today (3rd day), 3 rounds will be played before lunch and 1 after lunch. Pair Session-1 will be played in the evening along with 2 sessions of super league. 2nd pair session and 3 rounds of Super league will be played tomorrow till lunch. Prize distribution will be at 2 PM.
