Competition rules


1. Organizer


(1) Organizers: China Bridge Association, Silk Road Youth Forum, Management Committee of Nantai Lake New District, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province


(2) Organizers: Huzhou Talent Exchange and Industrial Cooperation Promotion Association, Zhonghe Baosang Biological Technology Co., Ltd.


(3) Co-organizers: Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Sichuan, Shaanxi Bridge Associations, various network platforms


2. Competition time and place


(1) Trials: Before November 20, all online platforms


(2) Semi-finals: November 21-22, Bridge Friends Circle


(3) Finals: December 2-5, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province


3. Competition item: team competition


4. Participation method


(1) There are 8 Silk Road city competition areas in Beijing, Shanghai, Ningbo, Wuhan, Changsha, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Xi'an. All bridge enthusiasts can freely form teams and choose the nearest competition area for free.


(2) Tryout


1. There are no less than 30 teams participating in each city competition area, and each team can report 4-8 athletes.


2. Each athlete is only allowed to choose one of the eight city competition areas to participate in the trials.


(Three) semifinals


1. The top 3 teams in each region will participate in the semi-finals.


2. Each team can report 4-8 athletes.


(4) Final


1. The team with the first place in the quarter-finals of each city will compete on behalf of the region.


2. Each team can report for 1 coach and 4-6 athletes.


3. The transportation, board and lodging costs of each team in the offline competition shall be borne by themselves, and the board and lodging can be arranged by the organizing committee.


5. Competition method


(1) Tryout


The provincial bridge associations in the cities where the competitions are located will organize registration and competitions on the relevant online platforms before the deadline for the trials. The competition methods and time of the competitions are determined by each unit.


(Two) semifinals


1. There are a total of 7 rounds of single round-robin tournaments, each with 8 decks of cards. It is organized by the China Bridge Association and will be conducted through the network platform. The specific competition method will be notified separately.


2. The entire competition will be supervised online, and each team must meet the requirements for video surveillance throughout the competition. Each contestant needs to prepare a competition equipment + a supervision mobile phone. Teams that do not accept supervision will be directly declared losers on the spot and will not be allowed to enter the finals.


(3) Final


     The competition method will be notified separately.


(4) The competition adopts the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association in 2018.


(5) Participants in the semi-finals and finals are required to submit the electronic version of the Chinese system card for reference.


Six, rewards


(1) The winners of the trials and semifinals will be awarded the China Bridge Association Network Master points in accordance with the "China Bridge Association Member Technical Level Standards", and the finals shall be awarded the China Bridge Association Master Points according to the "China Bridge Association Member Technical Level Standards".


(2) The top 3 and final teams in each competition area will receive a certificate of achievement issued by the China Bridge Association.


(3) All teams entering the semi-finals will receive prizes.


(4) Excellent competition areas will receive subsidies for running competitions.


(5) The final prize will be 100,000 yuan (after tax, provided by the sponsor).


Champion: 40,000 yuan, runner-up: 20,000 yuan


Third place: 10,000 yuan Fourth place: 8,000 yuan


Fifth and sixth place: 6000 yuan


Seventh place, eighth place: 5000 yuan


7. Organizational Requirements of the Trial Tournament


(1) Each unit needs to assign special referees (first-level or national-level bridge referees registered with the China Bridge Association) to supervise the entire game.


(2) Each unit must submit a list of all teams participating in the regional/unit trial and the list of national contestants before the deadline for each trial.


(3) Each competition area needs to submit the name of the contact person, administrator and contact information of the unit to the Chinese Bridge Association before November 9. The administrator of the event should be a person with experience in network competition operations and a certain level of refereeing (recommended) It is a first-level or national-level bridge referee registered with the China Bridge Association). The contact person and the manager can be the same person.


(4) Each trial organizer shall keep the original entry information for future reference.

(6) All participating teams should consciously and self-discipline, and promise to participate in the competition on the principle of fair competition, actively maintain the integrity, fairness and seriousness of the competition, and must not conduct any behavior that violates the spirit of sportsmanship. Regarding the issue of competition discipline, it will be dealt with in strict accordance with the "Chinese Bridge Association Interim Regulations on Competition Discipline" and its "Supplementary Regulations".
