"Emei Xueya Cup" 2021 Bridge Series Competition Rules


1. Competition date and location


It will be held at the Citic Guoan Emeishan Gymnasium in Leshan City, Sichuan Province from May 14th to 23rd, 2021.

4. Participation method


(1) The participating athletes must be non-arrears individual members of the China Bridge Association.


(2) Registration method


2. Each team can report 4-6 athletes in the quick knockout.


3. Sign up


(1) All competitions adopt the method of public registration in China Bridge.com. After registration, complete the payment and confirmation of registration through Alipay, otherwise the registration will be invalid. Registration and payment shall prevail. The number of teams (pairs) to be reported in each competition shall be subject to the online announcement before the competition.


(2) If the competition venue permits, it can be extended to 1 hour before the start of the competition. When there are certain restrictions on the competition venue, the registration will be closed at any time according to the order of registration and payment.


(3) The participating players are responsible for their own expenses, and the board and lodging shall be settled by themselves.


(4) Registration fee


The registration fee is determined by the competition unit and charged according to the competition stage. 1 unit = half a day (3-4 hours)


1. Quick knockout: 160 yuan/team/unit.


2. Swiss double match: 100 yuan/pair/unit


3. Continuous double match, graded double match: 100 yuan/pair/unit


The registration fee is collected by the organizer and used to subsidize the lack of competition funds.


 


5. Competition method


(1) Various competition methods


1. Quick Knockout: The competition method is determined according to the registration situation.


2. Swiss double match: 8 rounds, 5 decks of cards in each round. Use field points system.


3. Continuous double match: During the competition, several consecutive double matches will be arranged according to the schedule, and the competition method depends on the registration situation.


4. Graded double match: the match points system is adopted, and the Mitchell match system is divided or ungrouped. Group A is a group with a master score of 500 points or more, and Group B is a group with a master score of 500 points or less. Among them, players with low master points can register for high-level events, and players with high master points cannot register for low-level events. For master points, the higher of a pair of partners shall prevail.


(2) Adopt the "China Bridge Competition Rules" and "Supplementary Regulations of China Bridge Competition Rules" (2020) newly approved and promulgated by the China Bridge Association.


(3) Each pair of players will bring a Chinese system card and two copies of its attached page to the table during the game.


 


6. Admission Ranking and Rewards


(1) The top 4 places are admitted in the quick knockout. There will be no play-offs in the knockout, and the relevant teams will be tied. The top 6 in other competitions.


(2) All competitions are awarded to the China Bridge Association Master Points in accordance with the "China Bridge Association Member Technical Level Standards". In addition to the Master Points for each consecutive double match and graded double match, the best five of each participating athlete will be awarded. The results of the field are ranked and awarded to master points.


 


Seven, other


(1) Teams or individual athletes must purchase personal accident insurance (including during the competition and on the way back and forth).


(2) Matters not covered will be notified separately.
