Notice and Supplementary Notice on Holding Jiaxing City Bridge Mixed Team Series

In order to further promote the development of women's bridge sports in Jiaxing City, to enrich and enliven the lives of the majority of cardholders with competitions for training, the Jiaxing City Bridge Association is scheduled to hold the Jiaxing City Bridge Mixed Team Series from September to December.

3. Competition date and location: Starting on September 9, 2009, it will be held at the City Bridge Association Activity Center at 7:00 pm on Wednesday.




4. Competition item: mixed team competition
5. Competition method:




(1) According to the number of teams registered in each unit, the referee then decides on the number of cards and the competition system.




(2) Calculation of points: Each team will arrange points according to the ranking of each game. Each team’s points per game is equal to the number of participating teams minus the team’s ranking in that game. For example: 10 teams participate, the first place 9 points, the second place 8 points, and so on.




(3) The final score is ranked by points. When the points are the same, the total VP will be compared.




(4) The competition adopts the 1999 "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judgment Method (Trial)".




(5) Each pair of players bring 2 copies of the agreed card, which will be brought to the table during the game.




(6) Position rules: The female players of each team must sit at home S or home.




(7) In principle, players who have signed up are not allowed to ask for leave (especially female players), and should finish all units of the game. If they are unable to participate normally due to an emergency, they can use a substitute to participate, but a penalty of 1imp/per pair should be deducted. .
  6. Reward method:




Admitted the top three. Champion: 800 yuan, second place: 600 yuan, third place: 400 yuan.




No additional rewards for each unit.




7. Competition time: From September 9th, the specific time of each unit is as follows: September: 9th, 16th, 23rd; October: 14th, 21st, 28th; November: 11th, 18th, 25th; December: 9th, 16th, 23rd. If there are special reasons, we will notify you separately.
    8. Registration method:




(1) Free team formation, each team is limited to 4 people (one or two substitutes are allowed, but the referee must be informed in advance).




(2) Each team must be matched in a mixed form (two men and two women).




(3) There is no limit to the registered teams for each unit, but the names of teams that have already participated cannot be changed.




(4) Registration fee: 200 yuan per team (100 yuan per pair) (can participate in all competitions).




(5) Registration time: from now until 10 minutes before the start of each unit competition.

Supplementary Regulations for Mixed Team Bridge Series in Jiaxing City


 


1. The competition adopts the 1999 "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judgment Method (Trial)".


2. Game time: 6 decks of cards: 45 minutes


8 decks of cards: 1 hour and 05 minutes


               12 decks of cards: 1 hour and 30 minutes


3. Competition discipline:


1. It is forbidden to use unconventional bidding systems such as weak opening, and it is forbidden to use the HUM system and brown contract bidding.


2. It is forbidden to ban smoking and call or answer mobile phones; offenders will be punished procedurally or even disqualified from the competition.


3. Every player on the field must bring his own agreed card for the opponent's inquiries. Those who do not bring the agreed card are not allowed to play. The agreement card must fill in various agreement names in detail, and there must be no secret agreement.


4. Late: 0 to 5 minutes, warn the team leader.


         5 to 10 minutes, 1 VP deduction; 10 to 15 minutes, 2 VP deduction;


         15 to 20 minutes, 3 VP deduction; 20 to 25 minutes, 4 VP deduction;


         More than 25 minutes will be disqualified.


5. Positioning rules: The female players of each team must sit at home S or home. If you sit in the wrong position, cancel the result of the deck, or even cancel the entire game.


6. Provisions for substitute players: In principle, there are no substitutes, but those who cannot participate in the competition due to difficulties are allowed to find someone to replace. After negotiation, 1IMP/each pair will be deducted.
