Beijing Bridge Association and Beijing Century Changda Railway Equipment Technical Service Co., Ltd. will jointly hold the "Century Changda Cup" Beijing Winter Continuous Double Bridge Competition from December 6 to 12, 2009.

      Unit 2 December 6 (Sunday) 13:30-17:00;


      Unit 3 December 7 (Monday) 18:30-22:00;


      Unit 4 December 8 (Tuesday) 18:30-22:00;


      Unit 5 December 9 (Wednesday) 18:30-22:00;


      Unit 6 December 10 (Thursday) 18:30-22:00;


Semi-finals: December 12 (Saturday) 9:00-12:30;


Final: December 12 (Saturday) 13:30-17:00;

4. Competition item: open double


5. Competition method:


1. Preliminaries: A total of six independent units, bridge fans can participate in all units, or participate in several units, each unit is limited to five groups, each group does not exceed eight tables.


2. Semi-finals: The top thirty-one pairs of players from the preliminaries and a pair of players from the sponsoring unit will be selected for the competition.


3. Finals: The first 16 pairs of players (including a pair of players from the sponsor) will be taken for the competition.


4. The preliminaries, semi-finals and finals all use the Mitchell shift method, all playing the same card.


5. Preliminary points ranking calculation: the total points of each pair of players is the sum of the points of each unit that they participated in. The points of each unit of each pair of players is equal to the logarithm of the unit minus the ranking of the pair of players in the unit. For example: 42 pairs of players participate, 41 points for the first place, 40 points for the second... analogy.


6. When the players with the top 31 accumulative points in the preliminaries enter the semi-finals, if the points are the same:


(1) Compare the number of units participated, and the more one is listed first, if it is still the same;


(2) Compare the integral value of any session of the participating units, the higher one is listed first, if it is still the same;


(3) Draw lots to determine the ranking.


 


6. Reward method:


1. Preliminaries: Each group of each unit (ranked by the single champion) will be rewarded for the first three pairs of admission. The prize amounts are 150 yuan, 100 yuan, and 50 yuan respectively.


2. Semi-finals: The top six pairs will be rewarded according to the single champion ranking. The prize amounts are 1,000 yuan, 800 yuan, 600 yuan, 500 yuan, 400 yuan, and 300 yuan.


3. Finals: The first 16 pairs will be rewarded. The prize amounts are 5000 yuan, 3000 yuan, 2500 yuan, 2000 yuan, 1800 yuan, 1600 yuan, 1400 yuan, 1200 yuan, 1000 yuan, 950 yuan, 900 yuan, 850 yuan, 800 yuan, 750 yuan, 700 yuan, 600 yuan.


4. The top three in the final will be awarded trophies.


5. Master points will be awarded in accordance with the corresponding regulations of the China Bridge Association regarding master points.

3. Registration fee: RMB 50 per pair for each unit in the preliminary and semi-finals, RMB 100 for each pair in the final. Gold cards, silver cards, and ordinary cards stored in the activity center can be used, and senior citizens and students can enjoy a 20% discount on cash.

Supplementary Provisions


 


1. Participating players can change their partners with the approval of the organizing committee in case of special circumstances during the preliminaries that are not in the same unit, and the points will accumulate normally. No change of partners is allowed in the semifinals and finals;


2. Players who have changed their partners in the preliminaries and entered the semi-finals must determine their final partner from the preliminaries before the start of the semi-finals;


3. The top 31 players with the preliminary points in this competition will enter the semi-finals. If the points are the same:


(1) Compare the number of units participated, and the more one is listed first, if it is still the same;


(2) Compare the scores of any session of the participating units, the highest score is ranked first, for example: the highest score is the same, the next highest score is compared, and so on, until all the scores are compared. If still the same;


(3) Draw lots to determine the ranking.


4. It is forbidden to use unconventional bidding system, brown contract bidding and psychological bidding;


5. Complete the payment of the cards played in each round within the specified time, and deduct MP for overtime according to the referee law;


6. All players play the same cards. Discussing cards loudly is forbidden, and walking around is forbidden. You must get permission from the referee to leave the position to go to the bathroom, otherwise the MP will be deducted;


7. The score sheet of each table must be checked by the East and the West before being handed over to the referees;


8. Before the results are announced in the finals, a checklist will be issued to each pair of players. The score table will be announced 10 minutes after the checklist is issued. Any problems during the checkup period can be solved by the referee. Typing errors must be corrected.
