Competition Rules of 2011 National University Student Bridge Championship


1、 Approved by: China University Sports Association


2、 Sponsor: Bridge Branch of China University Sports Association

4、 Date and place: 1. Time: July 23-27, 2011


2. Venue: Hangzhou Zhejiang Business University


5、 Competition items: open team competition, women's team competition, open doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles.


6、 Measures for participation: The education departments (education commissions) of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and college students (students) sports associations are responsible for the registration work in their respective regions.


(1) Enrollment: All member institutions of the Bridge Branch of the China University Sports Association can apply.


(2) Entry conditions:


1. Competitors must be full-time undergraduate, junior college and graduate students with official student status who have been approved and accepted by the local college admission committee (office) in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education on the unified enrollment examination and admission of national colleges and universities.


2. Competitors must pass the literacy examination, abide by the relevant regulations of the school, and be healthy.


3. All athletes participating in the competition must be formally registered with the Joint Secretariat of the Student Sports Association of the Ministry of Education, and have obtained the Registration Card of Chinese University Athletes after examination.


4. Competitors must be under 28 years old (born after January 1, 1983)


(3) Participation method:


1. All students of our school must form teams to participate in various competitions, and cross school team organization is not allowed. Each school group is limited to one team in the team competition; Each school is limited to 1 team leader, 2 coaches, 4 to 6 athletes in open team competitions and women's team competitions.


2. Only the team members can participate in the doubles competition. A maximum of 4 pairs can be reported for the mixed doubles.


3. Registration: Each participant shall send the registration form to the Competition Department of the Joint Secretariat of the Student Sports Association of the Ministry of Education before June 23, 2011

Overdue acceptance will not be accepted (subject to the postmark date).


4. Check in: All teams shall report to the competition area on July 22 (teams not participating in mixed doubles can report to the competition area on July 23). At the time of registration, the competitors shall bring their student cards, ID cards, college athlete registration cards and personal accident insurance policies.


5. All participants must apply for "personal accident insurance" at the local insurance company (including during the competition and on the way to and from the competition).


(4) Measures for registration:


1. The person in charge of the athlete's school logs in to the registration center of the Student Sports Association website (www.sports. edu. cn) of the Ministry of Education or directly logs in to the school sports competition registration management system (education website: 202.205.109.196 Netcom/Telecom: 211.151.94.148) to register the athlete online. After the online review of the education department (education commission) of the athlete, The registration card shall be approved and issued by the registration officer in charge of the Joint Secretariat of the Student Sports Association of the Ministry of Education. When registering, it is required to fill in the athlete's information, registration period, upload the athlete's photo, ID card, student card scanning copy, etc. (see the national regulations on the management of student athlete registration for details). 2. Registration fee: In accordance with the provisions of the Measures for the Administration of the Registration of National Student Athletes, each registered athlete will be charged a cost and handling fee of 20 yuan/year.


3. The registration deadline is June 23, 2011. If it is overdue, it will not be accepted and will not participate in the competition.


7、 Competition method:


(1) The 2011 China Bridge Competition Rules and China Bridge Referee Law approved by the China Bridge Association will be implemented.


(2) Open team competition method: the competition is divided into two stages.


The first stage: The Swiss system transfer match is adopted, with 12 pairs of cards for each round and 6 rounds.


The second stage: knockout and play off.


Knockout competition: the top 8 players in the first stage will be knocked out. In the first knockout, 24 cards were played, 24 cards were played in the semi-finals and 32 cards were played in the finals.


Additional round: continue to play Swiss made transfer match, 12 cards for each round, and play 3 more rounds. The teams that fail to enter the top 8 in the first stage and the negative teams in the first knockout match enter the play off with all the results in the first stage. The top 4 of the additional competition will be ranked 5th to 8th in this competition.


(3) Competition method of women's team competition: the competition is divided into two stages.


The first stage: The Swiss system transfer match is adopted, with 12 pairs of cards for each round and 5 rounds.


The second stage: knockout and play off.


Knockout competition: the top 8 players in the first stage will be knocked out. In the first knockout, 24 cards were played, 24 cards were played in the semi-finals, and 28 cards were played in the finals.


Additional round: continue to play Swiss made transfer match, 12 cards for each round, and play 2 more rounds. The teams that fail to enter the top 8 in the first stage and the negative teams in the first knockout match enter the play off with all the results in the first stage. The top 4 of the additional competition will be ranked 5th to 8th in this competition.


(4) The competition method of the duet:


Open doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles will have a preliminary match and a final match respectively. The preliminary match adopts the grouping Mitchell system, playing 18 pairs of cards, and the results are calculated according to the unified scoring method of the whole court. The top 24 players are selected to enter the final. In the final, 12 tables of Mitchell system were used to play 22 pairs of cards.


(5) The referees preside over the drawing of lots.


(6) The competition strictly implements the regulations on handling violations of Chinese college students' sports competitions.


(7) Each pair of players needs to bring 3 copies of the appointment card, one copy to be reviewed by the competition team of the Conference at the time of registration, and the other 2 copies to be brought to the competition table at the time of competition.


(8) Natural and accurate systems can be used in competitions, and other unconventional systems are prohibited. Brown contract call is not allowed (please refer to the Chinese Bridge Referee Law).


8、 Reward: The top 8 winners of each competition will be rewarded and issued with certificates.


9、 Funds: The participation funds shall be in accordance with the expenditure standards of the current national regulations on sports competitions. Each school shall pay 500 yuan for the group membership fee, 100 yuan for each person, and 100 yuan for accommodation/person/day when registering. Each team shall pay its own round-trip travel expenses.


10、 The method for selecting referees and arbitration committees shall be separately prescribed.
