11th HCL Bridge Championship started today at Tivoli Garden Resort Hotel with total 77 teams in fray. The turn out was as expected with 40 Teams participating in Team of Four Gold Event and 37 Teams in Team of Four Silver Event.
There will be 8 rounds of Swiss League of 10 Boards each before moving to knock out stage of the Team of Four tournaments.

After 6 Rounds played today, Texan Aces is leading the field with 84.04 VPs, followed by Ayan’s 83.08, Almost famous 80.17, Dhampur Sugar Mills 79.9 and Sunil Machar 79.11. For round by round results see the event website.

After 6 Rounds played today, Amitabh Verma’s team is leading the pack with 119 VPs, followed by Rahara card Cluib 111, Green Tops 111, Fascination 109 and Lotus 107.

The team of Four Gold event has been scored on New WBF Continuous VP scale (20-0) whwere as Silver event has used traditional 25-0 VP scale.
