India has traditionally done well in this event and we have won 1 Gold and couple of bronze medals. Incidentally in the last edition of this event at Delhi, Jalan’s team won the event as sponsored team, but were not awarded medal because they were not official Indian team (Jalan’s team beat official Indian team in SFs!).
Let us hope we get more such press coverage in the lead up to World Champs in Chennai next year.

Hemant Jalan’s team comprising of Hemant Jalan, Ashish Malhotra, Sandeep Thakral, Kaustubh Bendre, Kaustabh Nandi and Sandip Dutta will represent India in Commonwealth Bridge championships at Glasgow that is now underway.
