‘Longest Day’ raises awareness of Alzheimer’s


The Holland Bridge Club is taking part in “The Longest Day” event of the Alzheimer’s Association to draw awareness for the support and research efforts of the association.

The Holland Bridge Club is taking part in “The Longest Day” event of the Alzheimer’s Association to draw awareness for the support and research efforts of the association.
On June 21, the club will play contract bridge for 16 hours, at Central Wesleyan Church, 446 W. 40th St. Duplicate Pairs will begin play at 8:45 a.m., with the Swiss Team playing a 1 p.m., and duplicate pairs at 7 p.m.
A fee of $15 includes a pizza lunch.

“The Longest Day is an opportunity to do what you love while supporting millions of people worldwide who bravely face Alzheimer’s disease every day,” said Angela Geiger, chief strategy officer, Alzheimer’s Association. “We applaud the American Contract Bridge League, our inaugural partner of the Longest Day.”
