Lynne Rosenbaum and Valentin Kovachev of Glencoe earned first place at the Wernher Open Paris event at the Summer North American Bridge Championships. The championship concluded Aug. 11 in Atlanta. This is the first national title for both.
The Wernher Open Paris a four-session pairs even with two qualifying and two final sessions. The National American Bridge Championships attracts 5,000 players annually.
