The FISU World University Bridge Championships were held in Opatija, Croatia from 1st – 7th November and each NBO was allowed to send up to two teams to this exciting event. European university teams claimed all the medals, with Czech Republic 2 narrowly beating Poland 1 to win the Gold medal and France 1 finishing third.
