In 2017, the Sichuan Intellectual Movement into the Community (Deyang Station) Bridge Competition was held on June 10 at the Wuhu Chess Club in Deyang City. The competition was hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Social Sports Guidance Center and the Sichuan Bridge Association.
More than 90 community bridge enthusiasts from 16 community representatives from Chengdu, Shifang and Deyang took part in the competition.
After fierce competition, Deyang Longjing Community Team won the championship, Shifang Limin Road Community, Chengdu sent Xianqiao Community to gain 2, 3, and Deyang Changjiang Road Community, Taishan Road Community and Wuhou Biyun Community received 4-6 points.
The Deyang Bridge Association actively carried out activities in the intellectual movement into community activities to explore the diversified ways of practicing the intellectual movement into the community. In 2016, it applied for the Deyang City Charity Venture Project - Bridge to enter the community to carry out projects and achieved good social benefits and repercussions.
