In 2017, the 5th "China Star Mercedes-Benz Hongyu Cup" Bridge Invitational Tournament in Wuhu City came to an end on June 4 after a fierce and fierce competition in 14 days.

In the quarter-finals, Nanjing Zhaohe defeated the Rangers and XYZ defeated the Jiangsu Xingguang team. Shanghai Chengkang team defeated Hongyu 2nd team with 0.5VP. Hongyu team defeated the Wuxi Happy Bridge team and advanced into the semifinals. The semi-finals were played by Nanjing Zhaohe team against Shanghai Chengkang team and XYZ team against Hongyu team. After two rounds of 20 cards, Nanking and XYZ defeated their opponents respectively and reached the finals. In the finals, Nanjing Zhaohe team composed of Yu Honggao, Liu Ye, He Zhenyi, Wu Yuanyi, Dongli Dang, and Tang Ming advanced the championship and defeated Zhang Desheng, former coach of the National Bridge Team, with a total score of 57.5:20. Leading the XYZ team, won the current "Rainbow" champion, XYZ team runner-up. In the 3rd and 4th contests, the Hongyu team defeated Shanghai Chengkang with a total score of 39:17.5 and won the third place. Shanghai Chengkang team won the fourth place. At the same time in the 6-round 60-card point-setting competition, Wuxi Happy Bridge Team, Wuxi Team, Ma'anshan Juyu Team, Haitian Ruisheng Team, Zhejiang Huanglong Bridge Club Team, Yichang Guangbo Team, Jiangsu Xingguang Team, Yangzhou Jinchun The team won the top eight in Group A; Vthoot Team, Jingwu Team, Huangshan Team, Golden Eagles, Quzhou Bridge Friends, Hua Zhang Jie Cai Team, Wuhu Yongji Team and Guangzhou Zhaoheng International Team won the top eight in Group B.
