To promote the development of the bridge campaign for the elderly, and promote exchanges among bridge enthusiasts from all provinces, cities and regions in the country, fitness, and anti-aging, Beijing Bridge Association, Beijing Dazhong Investment Co., Ltd. and Beijing Qiaoyou Sports Co., Ltd. will be held in 2017. The 9th "China Cup" Beijing Old Age Bridge Invitational Tournament was held in Beijing Kangming Building from May 24th to 26th.

Sixth, competition methods:


1. The game is divided into two phases. The preliminaries use the points arrangement to conduct a total of five rounds of competition, with 16 decks per round and the number of accumulated VPs.


2. The finals are divided into two parts: the elimination match and the points arrangement. 1-8 players will enter the elimination match before the preliminaries and 9-44 players will perform the points arrangement. A total of three rounds of matches are played in the elimination round, with 24 rounds of cards in each round. The points arrangements are re-arranged in accordance with the preliminaries, and a total of five rounds of matches are held, each round of 12 cards, and the number of cumulative VPs is ranked.


3. The competition uses the “Chinese Bridge Card Competition Rules” issued by the China Bridge Association in 2013. This game prohibits the use of psychological calling, unconventional system bidding and brown conventions.


4. The participating players must bring the paired Chinese reservation card (which can have the bridge's special English symbol) to participate in the competition. If they do not carry the Chinese reservation card, they will be executed according to Article 54(9) of the Rules.


5. Reminder: When a reminder is needed, the participating player must immediately remind the opponent on the same side of the screen that when the push plate reaches the other side, his companion must also remind the opponent on the same side of the screen. The reminder places the reminder card on top of his last calling card in the bidding column of the opponent on the same side of the upper screen; the reminder informs that the reminder has been received by returning the reminder card to the opponent. Reminders must not make reminders in other ways or across the screen.


6. The game uses the 20:0VP conversion table (decimals) published by the World Bridge.


Seven, participation methods:


1. The age of participating players should meet the following requirements: Male players must be 60 years old and female players must be 55 years of age (each team is allowed to have a male player 58 years old or female player 53 years old, please bring an ID card for registration when checking in). Physical health, no major illness, can guarantee the normal participation in the bridge game. (The age of the special representative team can be appropriately relaxed)


2. This competition is limited to 44 teams and each team is limited to 4 to 6 people.


3. Entry fee: Registration fee is 600 yuan per team. Each participating team will be responsible for transportation, accommodation, and food expenses.


Eight, incentives:


1. The number of winning places is not less than 40% of the number of teams, depending on the number of teams.


2. A mobile championship trophy will be held for 3 consecutive times and will retain this trophy forever.


Nine, the game time:


From May 24th to 26th, 2017 (May 18th, 18:00, a team leader meeting will be held at Beijing Kangming Building. Participating teams in Beijing may not participate, and the foreign teams need to participate). Specific match time:

XI. Insurance Matters and Disclaimers:


The organizer will inform all participating bridge members that each team must purchase personal accidental injury insurance (including during the competition and on the way back and forth) and present it at the team leader meeting on May 23, otherwise the team will not be allowed to participate. The organizers, co-organizers and contractors shall not be responsible for the costs of casualties, medical treatment, transportation, etc. incurred by the participating personnel.
