Notice on Holding the Eighteenth Five-Year Southwestern Five-year Bridge Competition

Improve competition and build friendship. The Guizhou Bridge Association is scheduled to hold the 18th Southwest Five-District (District, City) Old-age Bridge Invitational Tournament in Leishan County, Guizhou Province from April 18 to 21, 2017. Competition regulations
 
I. Organizer: Guizhou Provincial Elderly Sports Association

Fourth, the game time: April 18 to April 21, 2017
V. Venue: Leishan Hotel, Leishan County, Guizhou Province
6. Participating units: Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Guangxi Five provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities). The other teams from Beijing, Anhui, Shanxi, and Guangzhou are also invited.

VIII. Entry Methods:
1. Each team can have 1 team coach and 1 coach, 4-6 athletes.
2. The conditions for participating players are: male players 60 years old and female players 55 years old or older can sign up (each team is allowed to have a 55-year-old male player or 50-year-old female player).
3. Each team must be responsible for the health and safety of the team's athletes. Each team member must apply for personal accident insurance and present the insurance policy upon check-in. Each team needs to sign safety responsibility before the game.
Nine, competition methods:
(a) The competition will be conducted in two phases.
The first stage: preliminaries. A total of 8 rounds of 12 cards per round were adopted. According to the cumulative Vp ranking, the top eight entered the second stage, and the remaining teams voluntarily enrolled in the doubles.
The second stage: knockout and doubles.
1. Elimination 1-1: 1-3 players in the preliminaries will select opponents from 5-8 teams in sequence, winning the team into the elimination 2-1, and the negative team entering the elimination 2-2;
2. Elimination 2-1: The team ranked first in the preliminaries of the 4 teams selected the opponents in the 3rd and 4th teams, winning the team into the final of the championship and the negative team participating in the 3 or 4 additional tournament;
3. Elimination 2-2: The team ranked first in the preliminaries of the 4 teams selected the opponents in the 3rd and 4th ranked teams, the winning teams participated in 5, 6 teams, and the negative teams participated in 7-8 additional games;
4. The number of knock-out matches and additional matches is 16 and no points are scored by IMP.
5. Doubles: The team that did not enter the top 8 in the preliminaries voluntarily enrolled in the doubles. In order to organize the game using the points arrangement, the number of rounds and cards is announced according to the number of matches in the competition.
(b) The competition will implement the 2013 China Bridge Race Rules and the China Bridge Association's annual "Supplementary Provisions for the China Bridge Race Rules." The provisions in the "Chinese Bridge Race Rules" which are inconsistent with this regulation shall prevail.
(3) The team number of each team shall be determined according to the online registration number, and the first round shall be determined by drawing lots by computer.
(4) The participating athletes must fill out the "Commitment Card" and bring them to the table.
Ten, admission awards
The top 8 players in the team competition and the double tournaments will be booked separately.
XI. Funding:
1, each team needs to pay 300 yuan registration fee.
2, athletes travel traffic, accommodation and accommodation costs all their own. The General Assembly will arrange food and accommodation in a unified way, 280 yuan per person per day (arrangement of standard rooms). For single-person private rooms, please make up the total room rate for a total of 4 days. No fee refund procedures will be conducted halfway through the competition (Note: April 3, at 3 pm Half away from the meeting).

Please report to the Leishan Hotel in Leishan County, Guizhou Province before 18:00 PM on April 17, 2017.
XIV. Transportation:
Each train or high-speed train team needs to transfer to a taxi (or private car) at Kaili Railway Station or High-speed Rail Station. RMB 30/person goes directly to the hotel. Kaili is about 29 km from Leishan County. (Note: The bus is too much trouble to go directly to the hotel)
