Two England teams are competing in the White House Junior Internationals in the Netherlands. The event started on Sunday, with the main competition taking place Monday to Friday. Nineteen (predominantly European) countries are represented.

The England teams are:

  • White - Laura Covill & Siyu Ren and Ewa Wieczorek & Olivia Bailey
  • Red - Michael Alishaw & Stephen Kennedy and Shahzaad Natt & Ben Norton

At the end of the first round-robin phase, England Red topped its group, with England White finishing 7th out of 12 in its group, narrowly missing out on a spot in the 'A' semi-final by 2 VPs (top six qualified). Red then went on to finish second in the 'A' semi-final pool to reach the knockout phase, but White missed out on reaching that stage of the competition.

The quarterfinals take place on Thursday morning. There is coverage of the event on Bridge Base Online each day.
