The 59th Yongshi Cup Sandi Bridge Tournament was held on January 2, 2017 at the Jihua Building in Foshan. Two teams from Guangzhou, Foshan, and Zhuhai each participated in the competition. The former Chairman of the China Bridge Association, Yan Xuehai, Chairman of Foshan Public Utilities Group Ye Jianming participated in the competition. After 4 rounds of 64 cards in a day, Zhuhai 2nd, Guangzhou 2nd and Foshan 1st won the top three.
