Hengyang 2016 Bridge Classic held by Hengyang Bridge Association was held at Wenzheng Hotel in Hengyang from December 24th to 25th. This time the Classic is a doubles match and uses the Howell format (single championship). There are a total of 13 rounds of 6 decks in each round. Each round is set to win the prize and the ranking is determined by cumulative IMP. A total of 28 players took part in the competition. Among them, 21 players were qualified players for the 2016 Bridge Doubles in Hengyang City. Seven other players were invited by the Shiqiao Association. The participating players were free to partner. After fierce competitions of 13 rounds and 78 decks, Huang Jianxin and Ning Wenyun won the first prize. Zhu Jianyong, Guo Haoran, Wang Hao, and Liang Lijun each received two or three names.
