In 2016, the 6th “Taibai Cup” Bridge Invitational Tournament in Jiangyou City was held on November 11-13 at the Jiangyou Exhibition Center. From the 32 bridge teams across the province, 167 bridge enthusiasts took part in the competition.
The competition is divided into two stages. In the first stage, the points are arranged in a row and seven rounds of qualifying are held. Each round has 12 decks. Ranks of the teams in the first stage are ranked by cumulative VP points. The top 16 players enter the second stage contending race. Group A knockouts, followed by 16 players entered the second stage of the preliminary competition group B.
After three days of fierce competition, local players from Jiangyou formed a team and invited Liu Jia, a female member of the provincial team, to join the ranks of the formidable player.
