On April 14, the 22nd Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Youth Bridge Open took place at Wisma Kinashih Resort, Bogor, Indonesia. Three Chinese teams competed and participated in the U21 Junior and U26 Women's two teams respectively.
The Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Youth Bridge Open consists of a total of U26 Youth, U26 Girls Youth, U21 Boys, U21 Women Boys Team Team and the Asia-Pacific Bridge Youth Doubles. The competition is open to members of the Asia-Pacific Bridge Federation of Associations. Each group can send more teams to each competition. The number of teams in the host country cannot exceed 50% of the total. The Chinese Bridge Association organized the top 3 teams of the men's national team for the 2018 National Youth Team, the top 6 teams of the women's team, and the top 3 teams of the Men's National Team and the Women's First Team of the 2017 National College Student Bridge Championship. The team (U21 Junior), Shanghai Chen Yi (U26 young women), and Xuzhou Institute of Engineering (U26 young women) team participated in the team. The entries for each event in this competition were: U26 Youth 13 Team, U26 Girls Youth 6 Team, U21 Junior 7 Team, U21 Women 4 Team, a total of 31 teams.
As of the afternoon of April 16th, after two and a half days of competition, the U21 junior team ended the first cycle in the morning, representing the Chinese team's AFC secondary team with the 92.91VP to take the first place in the first cycle, Chinese Taipei team, Indonesian palapa. Thailand and Thailand will be divided into two to four teams. In the afternoon, the U21 team will start the second round and the top four players will enter the elimination round.
