In November 2015, with the support of four sponsors, the China Bridge Association, Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, Beijing Sports Federation, and Fengtai District People's Government, Shiqiao Association successfully held the Beijing World Women's Bridge Classic for the third time. The competition was sponsored by Huayuan Group and sponsored the “Huayuan Cup” team competition. The Capital Group continued to sponsor the “First Cup” doubles competition. According to the requirements of the municipal association office and the municipal body, the Shiqiao Association prepared the 9th member representative meeting on May 24, 2015 after two months of intense preparations. The 132 members voted by secret ballot and directly elected the Ninth Council and Board of Supervisors of the Beijing Bridge Association.
The 57 members and 5 supervisors of the 9th Council and the Board of Supervisors of Shiqiao Association had an average age of 55 years, which was a decrease of 16 places from the previous session and the average age was reduced by 6.5 years. Among them are 18 members of the corporate member units, 13 coaches, athletes, referees, and supervisors. The current council and board of supervisors are more mass-oriented, younger, and professional. They will continue to promote the development and innovation of the bridge business in Beijing and open the door to the future.
In 2015, with the strong support from four leading companies, including Huayuan, Capital, Beijing Capital, and Kexin Technology, each team in Beijing and Class A clubs strictly trained and worked hard to win 11 championships and 8 events at international and domestic competitions. Second runner-up, 4 runner-ups, outstanding results.
In addition, Chairman Wan also reported to the board members: In January 2016, the Beijing Youth Women's Team, made up of young girls less than 20 years of age, won the championship of the National Women's Bridge Team Championship; February was the elite of the world’s intellectual sports. In the match, Beijing Jingeng Men's Team and Capital Securities' A-class club team represented China in the team season. Li Xiaoyi/Hu Linlin won the men's doubles second place on behalf of China.
In 2015, Shiqiao Association held eight special competitions in the city's large-scale mass competitions, the Beijing Old-Bridge Bridge Association quarter-finals, and the “Family of Joy” double bridge tournament at the event center. More than 12,000 people participated in the competitions throughout the year. In 2015, more than 30,000 people participated in the various bridge events held at the event center. Another 100,000 people participated in the community bridge activities in Beijing. There were about 130,000 people participating in various bridge events throughout the year. The City Bridge Association always adheres to strict compliance with national laws and regulations and earnestly implements various rules and regulations.
