The Twenty-Twenty-Sixth China-Friendly City Senior Citizens' Bridge Cup of the "Kentin Cup" organized by the Huaxia Friendship City Old Bridge Club and the Anhui Bridge Association was held on May 20, 20-23, in Country Garden, Wuhu, Anhui Province. Tim Grand Hotel (five-star) was grandly held. 76 teams from all parts of the country and more than 400 people participated in the competition. The competition is divided into two points of the points layout and additional points. After seven rounds of strikes, the top eight players entered the knockout rounds according to points; thereafter, three ABC teams entered the qualifying round.
After 13 rounds of 130 cards, the Anhui Kenting Senior Team led by Master Zhang Desheng and Zou Liwu managed steadily, marched all the way through and won the championship, finally won the “Kenten Cup” and stood on the highest podium. Master Desheng Zhang, who was once the head coach of the National Men's Team, was sitting in a wheelchair as he walked inconspicuously, highlighting his dedication and tenacity in the bridge. The second and third place holders were Shanghai Yiyun Walk and Chengdu Core Team; the top three players in Group A were: Fengxian Old Team, Shanghai Changshou Bridge Friend, and Chongqing Old Team; the top three in Group B was: Kunshan Huatai. The old team, the Huainan old team, and the old troops of Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province; the top three players in Group C were: Tie Qiao You You, Yunnan Qujing Elder, and Chongqing Xinxin Old Team.
