China send four teams to attend The 3rd Asian Cup Bridge Tournament
On the 4th of June local time, the 3rd Asia Cup International Bridge Championship was opened at the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa in India. Fifty teams from 12 countries and regions are about to compete in the five team competitions.
The Asian Cup set up five team events for men's team competition, women's team competition, mixed team competition, super-mixed team competition and senior group competition. Among them, there are 14 men's teams, 9 women's teams, and 9 mixed teams. The teams participated, six teams of super mixed groups participated, and 12 teams of senior citizens participated. The Chinese team's teams participating in the men's team are the Chinese National Team (Chen Gang / Yang Lixin, Yan Chuancheng / Shi Zhengjun, Shi Haojun / Zhuang Zejun) and the China Asian Games Training Team (Fuzhong / Li Jie, Hou Hao / Liu Jing, Li Xin / Zhao Yanpei ). Participation in the women's team competition was last year's Venetian Cup champion's original team (Huang Yan/Wang Nan, Liu Yan/Lu Yan, Shen Qi/Wang Wenxuan). The Chinese Senior Team participating in the Senior Team Competition was the team of the Asia Pacific Champion last year (Lin Rongqiang/Tao Jianhua, Shen Mingkun/Shen Xiaonong, Sun Ming/Zhang Yalan). China did not send teams to participate in mixed team competitions and super hybrid team competitions.
All competitions are divided into two stages. The first stage is a round robin, which is completed in 4 days. The first four players of each project enter the semi-finals, the semi-finals and the finals each perform one day, and finally the winners of all projects are generated on the 10th. Players who do not enter the semi-finals can compete in the doubles. The competition will begin on June 5. The BBO will be broadcast live. At the same time, 4 rounds of 8 games will be broadcast at the same time. At 12 o'clock in Beijing time, it will end at 10 o'clock in the evening.
