APBF Second Seniors’ Team

There may be a second place available to Australia in the APBF Seniors’ Teams in Seoul. The winners of the Seniors’ Playoff will take the first place. Applications for the other place should be made to the chair of the ABF Tournament Committee (tournamentchair@abf.com.au) before 5pm, AEDT, on Sunday 22nd January, 2017. This is earlier than previously advertised because of earlier deadlines from the APBF.

Applications will be ranked on participation and position in the Seniors’ playoff and PQPs. Players should be aware that:

• The ABF will pay entry fees and provide a uniform shirt for each member of the second team. There will be no travel or accommodation subsidies provided to this team.
• The number of second team positions at the event may be restricted. If too many countries enter there will be a ballot for entries, so Australia may not be able to send a second team. We should know which teams can go in April, soon after entries close.
