On the afternoon of July 26th, the 2015 National Undergraduate Bridge Championship ended at the Zhanlin Gymnasium of Hubei Engineering College.
The competition was hosted by the China University Sports Association, co-organized by the China University Sports Association Bridge Branch, and undertaken by Hubei Engineering College and Hubei University of Technology New Technology College.
There are 58 male and female teams from 20 universities and colleges across the country, including 510 athletes, 90 team leaders and coaches, and the scale is more than the previous ones. Among the participating universities, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University "985 Universities" such as Sichuan University, Shandong University, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
During the five-day competition, the contestants will compete in five competitions: open team competition, women's team competition, open doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
The leaders of China University Sports Association, China Bridge Association, Hubei University Sports Association, Hubei Bridge Association and other units, Xiaogan City and the relevant leaders of the organizers attended the opening ceremony on the 22nd.
A total of 9 teams from Hubei universities participated in the women's team and 13 teams to participate in the public group. In the competition, he achieved good results. Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and Hubei Engineering College won the third and fifth place in the women's team. Wuhan University of Technology Huaxia College, Wuhan University of Engineering players won the women's doubles East and West direction crown, runner-up, the public group Wuhan University of Engineering broke into the top 8, 8 into 4 lost, and finally won 12, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Jianghan University entered the group 16 strong. Huazhong University of Science and Technology won the sixth place in the North and South of the Open Doubles Tournament, and Wuchang Institute of Technology won the seventh place in the Open Doubles. The New Technology College of Hubei Institute of Engineering won the eighth place in the South and North.
